Thread: Tell me who here is not a freaking druggie

People can be addicted to anything. All it requires is the right circumstances and an efficient paradigm.

I go out and drink sometimes with my friends... but to be honest I don't really like the taste, even after all this time. I do have more fun probably, but I can have fun sober too. I used to smoke marijuana pretty often. I have stopped because school is starting, and I tripped for the first time ever a couple weeks back... and to be honest it scared me. I don't want to do that again. I haven't smoked for two or three weeks, and I hadn't smoked for a while before that either. I never smoke on my own. I only do it if it's offered to me or I'm with my friends or whatever. I think the war on drugs is retarded, why not just make Sky Diving illegal? It's infinitely more dangerous than crack (Sorry bro, metaphor kudos to Elis ).

I don't plan on doing any other drugs besides marijuana and alcohol. I have been offered a chance to "trip" on LSD and magic mushrooms on two occasions, but I turned them both down. I don't want to do that. I like my 'experience on life, dude' the way it is.

I don't ever let it interfere with school, work, making bank or going out and having fun. I've got enough to worry about.

Edit: I'm also surprised at how few people here have had no more than like a drop of wine cooler

True, plus the US has an addiction much more deadly than any drug addiction - an addiction to oil.

Oh yes, and I myself was addicted and absorbed with video games at a time in my life. It was all I wanted to do. They were my escape from reality. A distraction from my otherwise dull life.

The baddest trips I've had have been ones that my friends induced. Things like "The Box".

Alright, I'm sorry if I insulted anyone's character in my first post. It's because good people abuse substances that I hate them (substances, not people) so much. What it does to the users, their relationships, their families and their friends is unfair to everyone involved. And yes, I do have experience with this sort of thing. Sorry if my first post was misunderstood.

Grod, never had an experience like that, could've been laced. Who knows what though. The worst I've had was being barely able to move. As I fell to the ground everything was EXTREMELY bright and just looked so strange. I had CEV's also. Except it was all the people near me that I could see, it was silloheutes of them.
I think your experience could have been the same because yellow is a bright colour and with the photosensitivity weed gives you, you would have just been seeing all the yellow coz it was much brighter then everything else. Some people also lose memory of the experience if they smoke too much.

Anyway, I smoke cigarettes, drink occasionally, LOVE weed but haven't had it in quite some time. Had a bit of shrooms once but they were crappily dried (my friend put them on top of his fireplace lol) and there were bugs the next day so I didn't eat them anymore.

The war on drugs is contradictory to everything that the government and police were made for.
Think about this.... We put the government in place to guide us and help make choices for the good of the majority of people.
We put the police in place - no, not to supress or control us - to PROTECT US!
In other words they are there to make sure nobody does harm to anyone else. With the war on drugs they are making sure we don't do harm to ourselves (allegedly). That is not their job, it makes no sense.
And besides that there is recently becoming more and more overwhelming evidence that most drugs to not cause any harm, or neglibible harm to your body or mind.

Example are Cannabis, LSD, Ecstasy and Salvia Divinorum. The are others but you get the point. Even Heroin is completely fine. It doesn't damage your body in anyway and the only way it damages your brain is by making you want to have Heroin all the time and even after you kick it you still want it every now and again, but I wouldn't call that damage. Since even when you stop playing a sport or something you still get the urge to play it again even years later.

You could claim Cannabis kills your braincells but just look at MRI images from NON-GOVERNMENT studies. I stress the non-government part, everyone knows the story of Ecstasy draining your spinal fluid? That is because they used to drain your spinal fluid to do the tests with Ecstasy!

Oh and Black_Eagle, you blame weed for your situation, what about blaming the illegality of it? If it was legal and your step-dad was smoking at work nothing would have happened except for him getting high and actually being able to work. Blame the police and government for your position not a harmless plant.

I made a pact with myself that I would do certain drugs if I ever got the opportunity. Shrooms and Salvia. Both non-addictive and widely used only once or twice by most people.

Dark, If you are going to do this. I would like to give you some advice. Make sure you are around good people in a comfortable place and you have nothing pressing that you have to do for hours and hours and hours. Do your research. If things get nasty. go off by yourself, take a walk. always be in control of your emotions. see the things unseen, go where few have gone before. be reborn

Yes, I am an irresponsible junky probably doomed to burn in hell for all eternity. I have no self control nor restraint. If I'm not buzzed, I'm drinking or masturbating. I am a hedonist in every respect of the word. My habits have caused me to be antisocial and selfish. I am destroying my body, my relationships and most importantly my mind. I don't care about anybody except myself, and all my interactions with the world are fake as I'm only looking for my next fix.
