Wasn't really the "deep thinking" I had in mind. Deep Thinking to me would be thinking about what I like and disslike about said girl and not being able to get her out of my head for those reasons...that or fantasizing.

ok, I'm going to put my 2 cents in here. I'm wondering how old the OP is. I have a feeling that it's a normal part of development, not like adolescence, but I think its something that everyone goes through at some point in their lives when they're younger.

I think it has to do with not having anything else going on to be distracted by. Like a full time job. It could also just be stress. Oh, and insecurity.... especially the bit about the girlfriend. If you're in a stable, secure relationship, you're not wondering what your partner is doing, you just know that they love you and it's all good.

It all boils down to perspective.

i do this a lot too its ridiculous but then i force my self to stop and tell myself harshly that i'll know when i die and meet God so shut the fuck up cuz it doesn't matter right now. lol
