      need to lose some weight...

So, i have been getting the pounds on ever since i got transfered from the job i was doing to the job i am at now, people used to say i looked good and stuff because i started lifting weights, and excercising...1 hour walk to or from my work to my house. People were noticing a difference, then...i transfered to the other job and i went completly the opposite. People say i am not overweight, but i am heavy. There is this guy at my work who is as big as a house, and since every day my stomach felt like it was gonna explode, i told myself FUCK THIS, now i am gonna be losing this off, or try my hardest...i been saying this for years but i am gonna force myself. People take a look at me and they say "oh my god what happened to you?"

Maybe try eating the bad stuff in your dreams instead?

      Good luck!

I am SOOOO sore still. I been sore since i started this, and it's not gone away! i am even more sore, i forced myself to power walk my whole walk back, took me an hour this time instead of 1 hr 10 minutes. I told myself not to give up, so i lived through the rough time. First 15 minutes were easy as hell, then it happened! the last 10 minutes was cool down stage and there was no huffing and puffing.

What really helps is not eating or drinking anything but water three hours before bed. Also only sleep less than 8 hours and dont take fizzy drinks. This way included with your exercise should lose you some weight ( Thats assuming you have a regular diet).

Cut out simple carbs (glucose, sucrose, fructose, etc) whenever you can. Fat too, obviously.

If you actually want to burn fat, you need over 30 minutes of aerobic exercise. Right now you're power walking, but I'd like to see you jogging eventually. : >

Just remember to take it slow. A healthy weight loss program, where you won't gain it all back, usually drops you only a pound or so each week. Keep in mind your weight fluctuates as much as ±5 pounds per day, so if you're doing it right, then it could take at least five weeks to see results!

      Good luck!

You need not exercise to lose weight. A few years back my brother (in his mid 20's at the time) stopped drinking pop, and drank water regularly. That alone dropped him about 10 pounds. And he biked (slow to moderate pace) about 15 minutes to work and back each day, and that lost him nearly another 20. This was over the course of a few months.

You don't need to actively "exercise" (lift weights, run etc.) to be healthy. Just eat a bit healthier, do 5 or 10 minutes of activity a day (enough to get you breathing a bit heavy, weather it be playing Frisbee or taking the stairs) and you'll be surprised at the results over a few months, or even weeks. I remember not too long ago reading an article about this. How just doing 5 to 10 minutes of activity a day, to the point of heavier breathing, can significantly reduce your chance of heart attack, diabetes, and several other illnesses. Unfortunately I can't find the article/study.... but if anyone has it/finds it post it here!

Diet is huge, but exercise is also paramount. If you don't burn off more calories than you take in, you are not going to lose weight or actually keep it off and steady. Your brother biking was what kick-started the metabolism and got it going.
