Anyway, @Jeff777: I actually understand what you're saying, but you also have to understand that men and women have different thresholds for pain. If a man gets slapped across the face, he'll usually just blink and say "WTF, man?" If a woman gets slapped across the face, she'll usually start crying or screaming incoherently (or both). That's just how it is...because women have a lower threshold for pain, getting a punch (especially a man's) to the vaj might as well be as painful as a kick to the nuts.

And yes, I do believe the clitoris is one of the (if not the) most sensitive spot on the human body - male or female. It has more than 8,000 nerve endings. Not sure how much the testicles have, but I've always heard/read that the clit is actually more sensitive.

To get hit in the groin should be almost equally hurtful for both male and female.

Both have a lot of high sensitive nerves in that area, but I think a direct hit on the balls would hurt a bit more, because of the nerves and pain goes up to the abdomen.

Also consider that the glans penis and glans clitoris is made from the same tissue, the same tissue when one is a fetus becomes than glans in both male and female. (I also think its the same with the whole penis and clitoris)

Being hit in the crotch is probably just as painful for both sexes, it's just that popular culture emphasizes it when a guy gets kicked in the crotch. In a "manly fight" of sorts, groin hits are stigmatized because it's a major dishonor to the receiver. By hitting him there, the aggressor might deny him the ability to reproduce, essentially defeating his purpose in life. Our male-centered society has embellished this to the point that men don't think that women get hurt at all when hit in the nether regions, when in reality, we've just never paid attention to it. And since women aren't as likely to be involved in a fist/kick fight (most "cat fights" center on scratching, hair pulling, etc,) we don't see women being hit in the crotch as often as men.

The fact that there may be a bigger potential for permanent damage for men to be hit also probably plays a role in the cultural emphasis. Much of the female human anatomy is protected by the pubic bone, whereas men have it all hangin' out.

But if you get kicked in the balls, it isn't the imediate hit that
hurts, but more the aftermath. You know.. when that pain is
crawling up your gut. I don't know if this got all so much to
do with the nerve endings.

(I'd just imagine it to be a 'different kind of pain')
