I'm going to celebrate my birthday on my own ... Arrgghh ... I hate valentines day because everyone will be busy on dates and stuff, no one ever says to me happy birthday or anything

Valientine's day is the day I deliberately try to remain the least romantic.

Also, that's my parents' wedding anniversary. Anticipating sadness and drama.

There was this one Valentine's Day a couple years back where this kid I tutored put in a bit of effort to give me a card. He got someone else to write the notes so I wouldn't suspect it was him. Notes were hidden all 'round the school and I followed them until I found a black box without key nor hinge. Eventually I figured out how to open it, and inside was a card.

Anyway, we should focus on the real meaning of this thread:

Valentine's Day is Feb. 14, just a week away.

Since nobody is silly enough to make that mistake honestly, that must mean what we have in our midst, is a time traveller. And the only reason a time traveller would reveal his time travelling (and risk death by temporal erasure of existence), is to send a warning. Obviously, the world shall end one week before Valentine's Day. So, prepare yourselves.

I wonder if this time traveller gets into random moments in his life, maybe he is abruptly flung to some other date,
from in the past, occasionally in the future.

where he arrives, maybe naked, onto or close to some scene relevant to his own life that occurs on February 14th.

I find this thread weird, mistaking wednesday for thursday is easy to do. Mistaking January for February is weird.

If I have a date, I will be going to a nice place in Monroe for dinner, then back home for a movie and ... If I don't have a date, I will be drunk.

My plans are to find a girl friend so I can have some one to celebrate it with next year, but this year I'll hang around with friends and family.

I thought I would crawl into a corner and sob softly to myself, writing snippets of bitter-sweet poetry. Maybe I'll send some flowers and a box of chocolates to myself in a sad attempt to delude myself into thinking that somebody, somewhere, cares about me.

Nah, I'll be posting like crazy on DV, as usual.

Probably not gonna do anything. I've only actually received something on vday once in my life time (from a dude I didn't have a crush on). I told him not to get me a rose, and he still did. But he gave a bunch of other ppl roses too. But they were all red, mine was the only pink one. D:

Most likely nothing T.T I don't have that special someone yet... bu I'm working on it.

I'm most likely going to write an extremely depressing poem describing the state of my cold, withered heart. After which, I will post this poem on facebook, so that I can be sure everybody knows how depressed I am. I will then write "Love" across the fingers of my left hand and "Hate" on the other. At noon I will show up at the steps of Texas state capitol smothered with eyeliner, which will drip from my many tears. I will then fall to my knees in my jagged black clothing and raise up the two disembodied cow hearts, of which I purchased from the local butcher earlier that morning, and weep loudly so that the employees of the local news station, which is down the street from the capital, will hopefully hear and do a story about my suffering.

Nothing.

Other than looking forward to the following the Tuesday after it. [Very exciting concert going on that day.]

...so if the world were to end before the 14th, I would be highly disappointed.

My Valentine's day plans involve no-Name's induction into Black Dawn
Incorporated as a navigator and log-keeper aboard a newly seized North Korean
battleship, all of which should occur upon the breaking of his contract with his
girlfriend. Early welcome aboard there, mate.

Other plans involve doing what I would do on any other day, a tradition that
arose from previous negative experiences from Valentine's Days past.
