"MementoMori, the lucid machine"
"There's nothing better than knowing what it's like to fly like superman. Being fully aware of the air whipping by you, controlling every movement of every single atom in your body with a single thought. It's real freedom, and there's not a word good enough to describe it, so I'll just call it dreamy for now."

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
Birthdays are the quintessential bitter (yet subtle) reminders of a humans mortality. The celebration of such days are meant to carry positive tones, yet while we sit around eating cake and playing pin the tail on the donkey, the Grim Reaper himself is being reminded of his appointment with every man which no man can be late for or miss. |

Remember: be open to anything, but question everything

I've to say I have to agree with Abracat. A more Cyclical thing to say (from this eye's view, at least) would be something more about how the difference between me and you, life and death are not so clearly defined as we see them. Or how about such things are a part of, you know, a cycle. Your description of aging conveys a sense of linearity, a sense of going from start to finish, which strikes me as very un-cyclic. |

Jeff has yet to attain Shit Echelon Gamma, whereas Cyclic resides without effort in Shit Echelon Omicron. |
