I've finally returned after years of absence. I doubt anyone remembers me; I didn't post much. I was more of a lurker. <EDIT: I've just realised that I did post a fair bit... this is my 99th post, so I'd like my 100th to be something special.> |

Or you could use something completely unrelated to your real name. Like one of your favorite characters in a book. Hey.. That gives me an idea. I might just change my name to Kvothe. |
|
Could you make an anagram out of your name? |
|
I would just like to say that I remember your avatar, thought I don't remember much else. Welcome back I suppose |

Thanks very much for all your suggestions. I'm taking this incredibly seriously, so it might be a while until I get my final decision |

Sometimes, Jane Smith is good too. I was talking about this in another thread, possibly a whole other forum actually. I have a unique name too (although it's more a combination of a rare first name and extra-rare surname) and I don't like knowing that if someone googles my name, they can know for sure that the info they come up with is about me and not some homonym. |

I know this post is old, but... I loved The Name of the Wind too! My name is actually a variation of the name Dianora from the fantasy novel Tigana. |
