Cool REM Dreamer - Worth it?

I've been absent from the lucid dreaming world for quite some time now, and wish to come back to it with a different approach than what I had originally.

I want to try the use of some sort of dedicated mechanical or electronic device for lucid dreaming. Googling reviews, this quickly let me to the REM Dreamer.

My question is this: Is it worth it? Fortunately, I'm able to shell the money out for it without too much of a risk of it not working.

      Thanks!

      Nel.

If cash isn't a problem then I would say yes. I kept taking it off during sleep because I don't like anything touching my body when I sleep. I even have to sleep naked. The functions are very good and the manual is comprehensive so if you can sleep comfortably with it you may be able to use it to good effect. A lot of time and effort has gone into the programming of the electronics and is great fun to play around with.

      Thanks for the fast reply!

Have you by any chance used the TWC integration on the device? I remember reading somewhere that it has a harder time registering either up/down or left/right movements with it.

That seems like the greatest boon of this device to me, which is why I ask.

Just wanted to update that I bought it. I will post my results after awhile of working with it. I also bought B5 and Choline to start today.

Anyone know how long it takes for the REM-Dreamer to ship from its official website?

From Poland to UK took about nine days. TWC? I'll look at the manual for you and post when I have a spare moment.

Yeah, last night I sent them an email with my PayPal receipt ID asking about it, still no reply.

Guess I'll just wait a few days.

Hi, I've been looking at getting one of these too, how long did they take to deliver? Have you had any success with it? Thanks

Hi there, I have got one recently. Happy to share experiences and ideas. So far I am using the mode that gives me signal and wakes me up some 5 min later to get familiar how it projects in dreams. It's a tool and it needs some skill to use it effectively. Stay I touch :-)

I got mine a few weeks ago, but with DV being hacked and all, I didn't get a chance to post about it. I've had a few lucids due to the mask, but ironically it wasn't because of the mask's functions. (I still need to tweak the settings)

Cool! Yes, definitely, let's stay in touch with this. Right now with mine I seem to not be able to get it to recognize that I'm in REM sleep - even if the sensitivity is set to 9/9. The manual says it should have between something like 20-35 a night, mine gets like 3. Any ideas? Thanks!
