too much brightness of course and no way to detect rem sleep. Anyway I think that I can post some pics finally ( I had to wait 7 days to do so sorry guys not my fault I hope this code work well

      the Protoboard:

      the Diagram:

      the video:

I am working in the pcb rite now , I wanted to use only surface mounted devices (smd) so I am quite slow ,it supposed to be as small as i can handle in order to mount the pcb in a mask not in sunglasses( they where only to hold the stuff while I was testing it. the video is shaky and dark cos I wanted to show the two leds. more videos soon I guess.

so about the diagrams, both of them, v2.1 and v2.2 are working but the last one use less components so I am working with v2.2 from now on.It has only 15 cheap components ,basically you have two stages, the first one makes blink a led lets say "in real time" you move your eye you got one blink,3 movements 3 blinks. the second stage is triggered by the first one and start a TIMER ,the second led stay on for a predetermined time, this is made using analog components (one resistor and one capacitor) and no using programming code at all.
So the advantage of using this configuration is that you can use only the first led if you think that fast fhasing work good for you (additionally you can ge rid even more components) or you can use the second one if you want a predetermined time of light. Besides, if you know about electronics, you can use the device just as an input to another device ,lest say a laptop or phone, since both outputs can be considered digital outputs.

So I think I have a lot of work here, I still need to make a pcb, a mask and I have some ideas like adding a push button just to to turn on and off any of the leds in order to do rapid reality checks, and a normally closed swith to stay pressing it ,this would be able to power on the device just when we start to sleep, something like Lucid Scribe do with the mouse.

So you guys let me know what do you think, any idea is welcome!
