Question Where can I SAFELY download binaural beats?

Well, I decided to try binaural beats the other day, so I typed into Google 'binaural beats download', clicked on free-binaural-beats.com and went to Lucid Dreaming and clicked download.

My computer IMMEDIATELY freezes up, and when I restart, it wouldn't boot up. After booting from another drive, running chkdsk, and deleting the hundreds of hidden files in my recycle bin, I'm wondering where I can get binaural beats without having my terrifying experience. Thanks

The best way to do it is by downloading youtube videos using a converter like dirpy.com. I always use that one specifically because it fills n the details and reduces the download size to quite small. It might be smart to get a proper antivirus too, there are a lot of sketchy sites offering lucid dreaming aids and it doesn't help being open to all the virus lurking around the web.

Thanks for this dutchraptor. I'm incredibly paranoid when it comes to downloading stuff as my computer is my everything (sad, I know lol) and I've also been wondering where to get binaural beats from.

I am not sure if downloading from Youtube is a good idea, from what i heard YouTube reduces quality of the videos and sound, thus making some binaural beats different from their intended sounding, i may be wrong though, i never tried downloading them from YouTube.
I personally got binaural beats i use from BrainWave Generator - Preset Library , but that's because i have the program itself.

Nope not really, I use my sennheiser hd215 and it sounds almost perfect, binaural beats are pretty simple anyways it's not like you can really screw them up.

I just listen to YouTube videos. There is a gold mine of binaural beats on there.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

Computer issues aside, beats can also be hard to find with reliable effects. For example, some tones claim "philosophical inquiry" or "creative enlightenment" or even "ESP". The problem with this is that ALL beats do is train your brain to a specific frequency. There is no know connection between 20 Hz and creativity. So make sure that you find reliable sources that actually tell you what Hz the beat is in.

This is extremely important. A lot of beats claim to aid one process but even with a basic knowledge of brainwaves you would know what they are doing is simply wrong. I've seen some lucid dreaming brain waves that claim that by listening to a steady beta wave with intermediate pulses of Delta waves you will become lucid very easily, not only is this wrong, it doesn't even make sense, it just looks good and people will think it works. If you have no idea what brainwaves are maybe have a look at the following pages to build up a beginners understanding.

Out of some reason whenever I see the title of this thread in New Posts on this forum, my first thought is something like "how do I safely upload binaural beats to my brain with out getting an STD from it" or something like that. It's bizarre.
