5-htp taken before bed cause more deep sleep in the first half of the night and prolong the rem sleep after ~5hours of sleep. This means longer and more vivid dreams and therefore better chance to become lucid. I don't recommend using 5-htp, firstly because of poor dream recall in the first half of the nigh and secondly I've read about some negative effect on rats testing. Better choice is st. John wort before bed or drink alcohol (few beers do the trick) |
