      Mirrors are awesome

So, I had a false awakening LD, and the first thin I did once the dream was stable and all was go look at myself in the mirror.

I am trying to explore self perception, and so I had in mind the entire time that in a dream you are what you dream yourself to be. So, when I looked in the mirror I was surprised to see a reflection Identical to my reflection in waking life. However, after looking at the mirror for about 10 seconds, my reflection started to change. My eyes began to move together until I became a sort of cyclops, with only one slightly larger than normal eye.

I have to say, it wasnīt a half-bad looking eye either! hahaha

Freud says you have underlying jealousy for Lila Terunga, haha. That seems like a great idea to look in a mirror in the dream though! I'm gonna try that.

Mirrors are pretty interesting. The only time I ever looked into one while in a lucid dream, I looked like myself, except with longer hair than I've ever had in real life and wearing an outfit that I've never owned in real life, but would totally wear. (See the last paragraph of this DJ entry for details.)
Short-term lucid goals: [X] Move an object with my mind [ ] Create a portal and use it to get to a dream scene of my choice [ ] Meet one of my book characters

Long-term lucid goals: [ ] Visit the Dream World Academy [ ] Make a building appear at will [ ] Change my appearance to disguise myself as someone else [ ] Find the end of a rainbow

Yeah mirrors are pretty fun in lucid dreams, i myself use them in transforming everytime i see one.

And yes one reason for this is that i sometimes chance spontaneusly when i look at mirror and it sometimes destabilizes the dream + transforming to some certain form is stabilizing in my dreams.

I have sort of form catalog in mirrors...
      Sea of Dreams
      Sky of Freedom
      Fraud yet so Real
      Chaotic yet so Beautiful

I looked pretty damn freaky when I did it..quite disturbing. I looked a lot like this guy, but without the cloak, glowing eyes and fireball

Next time you see a mirror in a dream, make a wish and step through it.

Every time I have looked in mirrors in lucids I always look perfectly normal, infact almost too normak. I have tried using them for teleportation but so far it made me wake up twice back when I first started LDing. The night before last I was going to try it again. I had built into my schema that it would ripple when I touched it, making it much easier to visualize my destination. I touched it and it rippled and my hand phazed into it. It gave me the cool sensation I normaly get when phazing through stuff but the mirror seemed extremly thin. For some reason I lost my balace and fell forward and my whole arm and a bit of my forehead went into the mirror. I picked myself back up and tried rippling it somemore and would have succeded in teleporting if my mom hadn't woken me up right at that moment!

I have looked into a mirror once and my reflections face was pretty malformed. Like I would been in a fight against Chuck Norrisīs good twin brother.

      Mirrors are fun. I once spent an entire dream playing with mirrors. Every time I looked at myself there was something abnormal about my appearance. So far I've had;
one large eye like a cyclops (like you mentioned)
      no mouth
long curly black hair, instead of my natural light brown
      covered in facial piercings
