      Cool First Lucid Dream

Hey everyone. I'm new here, and last night was easily the most hectic dream I've ever had.

I've never lucid dreamed before, I don't perform the reality checks, but one thing I always did (about 2-3 months ago) was record my dreams. I've always had good dream recall, so I could remeber what happened last night.

Anyway, it's gonna be a pretty long story, if you wanna have a read then feel free

So it started off towards the end of some tournament being hosted in front of thousands, knights were fighting against each other on a huge wooden stage and everyone would cheer. As the final round approached, it was announced that my dad would have to fight some bodybuilder. I didn't want that to happen, and argued against it.

My arguing proved failure and I ended up at the outskirts of a secret military base located somewhere in the tundra. It was night time and my brother and I were scouting the area. I came across a building and figured I could get a better look if I walked onto the balcony of said building. The balcony had a sensor light however, so whenever I went to get a closer look the light would come on.

This wasn't good. I decided I would like a weapon to shoot the light.

I made my way back inside and discovered an M60 on the wall, with the HUD of Halo/COD showing its ammo capacity etc haha. When I picked it up, I knew all of a sudden that it would be extremely loud, and my brother approached me, telling me not to fire. I humbly agreed, and as I was doing something with the weapon, I recounted how I simply imagined what I wanted (the weapon) and it appeared - this is where I said to myself "What the hell, I'm dreaming".

I didn't get a huge rush of excitement though - which is good, because I could have woken up - instead, I just went with the flow.

The above became the past and all of a sudden I was at school. At this stage I was appreciative of the fact I was lucid, and seeing as the class was boring me I decided to walk through the wall in order to escape. It was really quite weird, when I went to leap through the wall, the first time it didn't work and I actually thought I felt it, which scared me. I pinched myself a few times and managed from this to convince myself I was in a dream. I then took a second leap (focusing my mind completely on walking through walls) and all of a sudden I was outside.

This is where I ran a muck. My first order of business was to fly around, as that was a common thing to do. I leaped up, couldn't see where I was going as everything was blurry - but I got that intense stomach feeling of falling on a rollercoaster. That was enjoyable, and as I kept my cool I decided to live out the rest of the dream without clothes.

I thought to myself, well, these people need to know I'm dreaming! I spoke to one of my mates and told him I was actually in a dream, he simply kept a face of disbelief and thought I was an idiot. So did everyone. It's as if your brain just doesn't want you to completely realise you're dreaming. Here's where it is strange though - I approached the smartest guy in our year, and told him that I was dreaming, saying as well that he should be smart enough to realise this. He stared at me for a few seconds, as if ready to tell me I was, but in the end said "No you aren't".

I didn't care though, because I could do what I wanted. I did whatever a guy would do in a dream, involving ladies (except sex, my mind got a little too active at that stage and things would blur out). At one stage, I was having a little bit of fun, everything went out of tone and I ended up in bed. Still thinking I was in a dream, I declothed and walked through my house.
I felt a sudden feeling of impending doom, noticing everything was very alike. I thought I was in reality until I noticed my bath was wooden and my towel rack was oddly shaped. Relieved, I returned to school.

I was trekking out of one of the buildings where I noticed one of the good looking ladies in the year below. She was cooking a sausage sizzle for some kids lined up, and I considered the thought of having some fun, however at this stage, I thought to myself "What if this is all real?". I felt as if everyone was going to hate me and my life was going to be ruined for doing all the weird things I did. I had to prove it wrong.
I looked at one of the bricks next to the toilet, it had white paint on it. The pattern of the paint changed when I looked back and I was thankful, yet still skeptical.

From there, I thought 'I want a hot girl to appear'. And so my demands were met, however it was a girl who I rarely noticed in the grade below. Utterly dissatisfied, as I made my way around the corner I made the same demand, only specifically. The demands were yet again met as I saw her walking down the stairs with her friends. I was nervous however, and didn't want to do anything. I was lucid, controlling all my movements, but still scared with the thought that maybe this is all real. Still.

After about another hour of causing trouble in paradise, and 3 false wakeups in my bed, I decided to wake up. I look back at this now and hate myself for the decision because I hadn't even covered HALF of the things I would have liked to do. Anyway, I was bored and decided I wanted to wake up (...). I repeated "I want to wake up" three times and forced my eyes open, to reality. Worst decision.

Either way though, I hope I have more of these experiences in the future to do more things. Thanks for reading this if you do, I always tend to write a little too much but hopefully it was intreaguing. As a newly lucid dreamer, I thought it was quite amazing how I managed to maintain lucidity for so long (what felt like 1-2 hours). I was constantly, subconciously (in the dream), making tests on things around me to see if it was real. Always returning false, I think that is how I managed to maintain the dream for so long.

I could write about all the strangest feelings I had at the time, but to describe the indescribable is not easy without 6000+ words

EDIT: I also recall now, picking up my phone and attempting to film what was happening in the dream, hoping to see it on my phone when I actually woke up hahaha

Wow.. Sounds so awesome, wish my lucid dreams would last that long. My dreams usually just blur out because I start to think of not waking up or getting a sexy girl in the dream^^

1-2 hours? Nice. I had one back when I was small. I think I remember thinking it was 15 mins or so, which was a decent length for just a flying one. I was forced to wake up though, by some black thing dragging at my feet... I could have dreamed for longer. But oh well. I'm doing ADA and I hope to have an ld soon, but I'm sure I will have one anyway, so no pressure.

Hope you have more, and write them here, this was a good read.
