Exclamation First Lucid dream? Or something beyond that? Please Help!

Okay so I made an account on here so I can strictly get you guys' opinion.

So 2 nights ago I fell asleep on my couch watching TV; My head was laying on the arm rest so it was on an about 45 degree angle. I don't recall turning the TV off but all the other lights are off, I am awaken later that night, the TV is off so the entire room is dark, the only light in the room is the slight illumination coming in from the windows from the moon. As im laying on the couch I start feeling a little pressure on my chest, like a dog or a cat is laying on me.. only i don't own any pets. In my mind i want to move my arms and see whats on my chest.. but i couldn't. Its not that i had any physical restraint on me.. it's just that it seemed like i was frozen or something. This is when it gets a little far-fetched, The pressure starts increasing to the point that it gets unbelievably painful, i felt as if someone was either sitting on my chest or pressing their hands down against me as hard as they could, But i still couldn't move or do anything at all! i couldn't even open my mouth and yell or anything! In my mind i was jus going insane like what the **** is happening, I started to cry but my face wasnt moving, tears were just coming out of my eyes. it was the weirdest feeling i have ever experianced. The last thing i remember is me just closing my eyes and blacking out i guess. I wake up the next morning springing off my couch.

Has anyone experianced something like this at all?!

That's very weird. Creepy. You live alone? If not, have you asked people who live with you if they didn't turn the tv off?

Sleep paralysis maybe, but I'm not an expert on it, so not sure.

I mean...based on your description, the thing was very real. A lucid dream isn't a experience in which you think you are really experiencing it. It's more like when you know it's a dream. In your situation, you can't affirm that. I hope you figure that out. I'd be freaking out if that had happened to me...

I was researching to figure out what sleep paralysis is and I got to...I bet u won' guess! Wikipedia. The thing is...the illustration made me remember of your experience. Check it out! Sleep paralysis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - "Sleep paralysis is particularly frightening to the individual because of the vividness of such hallucinations."

Wikipidia makes it sound like a disease. Just want to let you know it's normal, not a demon or anything like that.

It's actually necessary to attain sleep paralysis to induce a WILD.

Jus' one more thing. In my country's Wikipedia version, I found this: "Algumas pessoas relatam sentirem um peso no peito, como se alguém ou algum objeto pesado estivesse pressionando-o." - Translation: "Some people have reported of feeling a weight on their chest, as if there were someone or something making pressure on it."

Yeah, I've read a lot of sleep paralysis incidents on this site, almost every one mentions the pressure and weight on the chest.
