      Angry First LD Sucked!

The main story is part 3 if your to lazy to read it all. And answer my question at the end.

Before falling asleep, i did the 61 point relaxation technique. Then after my body felt heavy and i felt as though i couldn't move. Then my eyes began twitching. Then my punk a** brother got into an arguement with my ma. So i got up and told him to stop being a little stubborn, stuck up punk...
And i tried the 61 point technique again. And my body felt heavy. But i couldn't fall asleep, so i just turned on to my side and fell asleep after telling myself i would remember to realize i was dreaming a few times...

So later, my alarm went off at 4:30 like i set it up (and it was my phone so i quickly turned it off, not paying too much attention to it.) Then i was in dream land turbo quickly.

My dream scene was a gray background. As if there was a deep fog, or i was in a HUGE gray room. I knew i was dreaming(i didn't really RC. i just knew). So i jumped, and it was pretty high. Next, i tried to open one of the chakra gates(like Rock Lee from Naruto =P) and then nothing really changed... So i moved on to doing a kamehameha(like from dragon ball z) and i swirled it around in a circle. It wasn't very bright. just like some white line coming out with a little rainbow around the edge of it. Not very fascinating... :/

Then i woke up and saw my beanie on my left side. Before going to sleep, it was on my computer(wich is on a very small table right next to my bed) on my right side. It probably moved when i swung my kamehameha in a circle(which actually was in a counter-clockwise direction) =P

Did any of your first lucids suck??? And if you have any comments, feel free to leave them.

I ALSO LEFT OUT... When i began my LD, i felt my real body, so i tried to "feel the wind" on my dream body which worked quite well.

well, my first WILD which I had to day was even lamer than yours

was having some dream that I can't remember or I was just starting to have it, when I instantly knew that the 'reality' was terribly off and that I was dreaming, however that made my dream disappear and I now had nothing but a white-goldenish colored "full screen" in front of me, comparable to an LD version of the matrix loading program. I suddenly got the fear that I might wake up so I span around some, I think I had the false memory of my arms hitting the bed as I did so but that could have been planted there after I woke up by my mind to fill in the gaps, not sure, anyhow once I span around I now everything was black so I decided instead of making things even worse to let my mind take over for a while, but all it came up with was a logo that flew around like a screensaver that I saw in a previous non-lucid dream. then I woke up.
though I still am very encouraged to have it as this means I'm getting somewhere

My first ld only lasted for 15seconds, that´s normal. You will see that the next ld will be bigger and more vivid. Do some dream estabilization techniques in the next dream and you wil be fine!

Lets assume we don't know who Rock Lee from Naruto is, or watch DragonballZ.
I will go with that you were aware you were dreaming and it is a lot better than no lucidity IMO.

Indeed, in my first LD I had no control whatsoever. That and my neck was broken, leaving my head hanging somewhere down my back, so I wasn't even able to see where I was going.

I guess I'll recount one of my first DILDs because it really sucked.

I was in an airplane and a man threw a knife at me...I thought to myself 'hey! you can't throw knives in planes' and became lucid...then I turned around and the same guy was behind me about to throw another knife at me..the dream then faded

The weird thing about this is that I had another DILD with knife throwing in planes, which was amazing! Guess I have a strange knife throwing obsession...

No, because regular dreams are more vivid, and there is more of a story
And about you not knowing about Rock lee and Dragon ball Z, check youtube. they will have clips. be sure to type in english, cuz the cartoons ariginally aired in china or japan or something

and YES!!! Opening my "chakra gate"(like Rock Lee from Naruto) would get me like ten times stronger, which it didn't. and the kamehameha(from dragon ball z) would have been like turbo powerful, like a super powerful laser coming out of my hands. . It basically was like a really bright flashlight in my dream. That totally sucks. :/

Meh. I had my first (maybe 2nd...) LD last night. I don't know how, but I realized I was dreaming. I was standing in the middle of the road. I looked down at my hands, and they were huge; they looked like I had a severe allergic reaction to a bee sting or something. I tried spinning to keep from waking up, because I was soooo excited. Then I drifted into regular sleep. MINE sucked...it was like 12 seconds long!

      Not really that interested Mikey.
If your regular dreams are more vivid, maybe this dream wasn't a LD.

it was an LD cuz i knew i was dreaming. LD's aren't defined as dreams that are vivid, but as dreams in which you are lucid, or you know you are dreaming. I knew i was dreaming, but it was just like needing glasses.....

I SHOULD TRY PUTTING ON GLASSES TO MAKE MY DREAM MORE VIVID!!!! lol.
      DreamChaser, your a genius...
But my LUCID dream still sucked. It was barely like thirty seconds.
But i'm finally on the right track!!!

PS, if your gonna start lucid dreaming, skip your first one cuz, apparently, everyone says they suck. :/ (im being sarcastic for people who wanna call me an idiot... idiots =P)

Just saying normally Lucid dreams are almost as clear as real life.
Hence the word Lucid: Transparently clear and having a clear mind.
Maybe look up the meaning huh?
You had a grey foggy scene and couldn't change anything?
Look below, from the Lucidity Institiute:

At the least, lucid dreamers can choose how they wish to
respond to the events of the dream. For example, you can decide to
face up to a frightening dream figure, knowing it cannot harm you,
rather than to try to avoid the danger as you naturally would if
you did not know it was a dream. Even this amount of control can
transform the dream experience from one in which you are the
helpless victim of frequently terrifying, frustrating, or
maddening experiences to one in which you can dismiss for a while
the cares and concerns of waking life. On the other hand, some
people are able to achieve a level of mastery in their lucid
dreaming where they can create any world, live any fantasy, and
      experience anything they can imagine!
      "The Luidity Institiute"

Another thing GENIUS, you said "Then i woke up and saw my beanie on my left side. Before going to sleep, it was on my computer(wich is on a very small table right next to my bed) on my right side. It probably moved when i swung my kamehameha in a circle(which actually was in a counter-clockwise direction) =P"
If you were Lucid you would be in sleep paralysis and not be able to move your physical body.

With your attitude and arrogance, no wonder your dream(s) are what they are. You will only move forward well with a positive outlook.
And your thread is so positive.
I am sick of noob Luciders who think they know everything, then yell out for help later.
      Good Luck.

Well, if your so sick off all the noobs who think they know everything, go play on the street or something, cuz thats what this site is for. I didn't ask for help. I was telling about my first LD and wanting to hear what other people had to say.

And the definition of lucid is different than the definition of lucid dream. look it up, huh?

My first lucid dream was about 15 seconds long, and I flew in it from start to finnish.

Flying for me is so much easier then doing anything else like summoning or teleporting to somewhere.

Did any of your first lucids suck??? And if you have any comments, feel free to leave them.

I ALSO LEFT OUT... When i began my LD, i felt my real body, so i tried to "feel the wind" on my dream body which worked quite well.
How about, being amazed that the human mind has this ability AT ALL.
How about, wondering what it means to experience another world consciously that has no existence independant of your thoughts... dosn't that make you wonder?
How about not trying to cheapen things and turing it into an amusment ride based on cheesy Television or Computer games? (I don't know what your references are but assuming it's one or the other)

Mikey, I remember my first lucid dream and it didn't suck at all.
Sometimes lucid dreams don't last very long, due to not stabilising, distractions, etc.
You have to put effort in at first, and it gets easier with time.

Edit: Lucid dreams may be generally defined as 'knowing you're dreaming', but a heightened level of awareness is the catalyst.

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

my first lucid really sucked but you get better by time and practise
Insanity is the mind's only effective defense against reality.
sometimes dreams are so good that it hurts to wake up... .

Yes your first might suck, but that it why you learn dream control.
My first was worse, it was a WILD and after I fell through my bed I landed on some concrete and died.. It was a thrill to fall through my bed into a dream, but hitting concrete at high speeds isn't always the most fun. It lasted 5 seconds if not less.
Do not try and bend the dream. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realise the truth.
      There is no dream.
Then you'll see, that it is not the dream that bends, it is only yourself.
