      Lucid Clarity

I had my 3rd or 4th lucid this morning, this happened on accident, I gave up on lucid dreaming awhile ago but lately ive been remembering my dreams really well. I haven't written them down in my DJ because again, I wasn't working for lucids.

To how it happened, I woke up at around 8 to let my dog out of my room cause she was at the door, then I went to lay down for a bit, so a random thought came into my head of a natural area with cartoon talking rabbbits, so I started thinking about that/ half listening to the T.V about some guy who thought he was Jesus. Then I kinda heard talking in my head and I realised it wasn't from the T.V (it was SP). So, then all my training for Lucids kicked in. I immediately stopped concentrating on the sound and pictures I was seeing and tried to stay conscious. Then I saw the image in my head again (just like I was imagining something) but I started to spin and I was a flash of light in one direction( like i was spinning around a dark room but there was on area where my dream was) so I stopped spinning but it was dark.

Then I focused on opening my eyes and walking into the dream and I did. ( If you want to read the whole lucid just tell me) but I got in and the "graphics" changed as soon as I got in. It went from dark, bright, clear, foggy, cartoony, and then I tried to concentrate on that one but it went bright but lost a lot of vividness ( like it wasn't vivid at all).

Then after the dream I woke up thinking of the place the same way I did before I fell asleep, then got up, dusted off my DJ and wrote this down.

My questions are, how can I make it more vivid? how can I do this again? are wilds always not clear and vivid? ( I can't remember if I read something about WILDs not being vivid or not)

I tried WILDing for MONTHS then gave up because I never could. So, I might start trying again soon.

Also, I was very calm when this happened, and I lost control of lucidity sometimes.

Sometimes shouting things like, "become vivid" will increase the clarity of your dreams. For me, stabilization usually clears things up.

When you attempt to WILD again, just remember that falling asleep while at least semi aware, is the key. So try not to focus on the fact that you are WILDing.

My WILDs are usually more vivid than DILDs. But that's just me. Both types of lucid dreams can yield dreams of equal clarity.

Congrats, glad to see you came back to lucid dreaming.

Awesome! It's funny how you decide to take a break from lucid dreaming, then you end up going lucid right after that.

A general rule about WILDs is that they're often more vivid than DILDs; although like zebrah said, DILDs can be just as vivid given the proper circumstances and conditions. It's good that you can remember your dreams; that alone will increase the clarity of your lucids (and regular dreams) because your dream memory is tuned-up and working. Writing dreams down gives you that extra bit of recall ability that I'm sure will also help in recall, as well as vividness.

Take vitamin B6 supplements if you can, drink apple juice, or just eat foods rich in vitamin B6 - peanuts, chicken, turkey, green peas... This is making me hungry so I'm going to stop there, but you can look online and discover that there's a ton of foods that contain B6. This too will increase the vividness of your dreams.
