Wink My first lucid dream! Detailed Experience

So on friday night, technically saturday morning, I had my first DILD It was so mindblowing and kinda what I expected but not quite. Not sure if thats because I've forgotten the EXACT feel to it over the past 3 days. First let me explain what happened.

Basically the dream started pretty messed up. I was in my best friends living room. I was with all my friends and people I knew from back when I was at school. We were all just drinking beer, me thinking absolutely nothing of it, infact I was writing in my dream journal! Then one of the people I knew from school got a stanly knife and started trying to poke me with it. I told him to quit it but he kept getting more aggressive and push came to shove... he had stabbed me in the d*ck, balls and adam's apple. I didn't die however he just kinda moved on to the person beside me and started to make them do things like swallow their ring. Then I was sitting there like normal again with no blood on me! Once he had stabbed more people he came back to me ready to stab me but he stopped. He said he had already stabbed me and that it wouldn't be fair to do it again so he stabbed someone else who was also shitting there selves.

All of this stopped and changed - I was staring at my grans glasses as she was conversing with us all discussing what had just happened. My brother and sister were there along with other random people. It was right then that I just somehow realized I was dreaming I can't remember how I knew or anything. I just remember thinking "holy shit this dream is so realistic! there's so much detail!". I did no reality checks either.

I didn't let on at first that I was dreaming. I just continued listening to everyone while I admired my surroundings. I remember thinking about how I've read writing in dreams appears distorted - well I looked at the dvds and books that are in the corner of the room and they were slowly warping into jibberish! I was so fascinated. Then I decided it was time to go outside. I went to the hall and got my bag. Put my hand on the door handle but got a sudden rush of paranoia that they'd read my dream journal which I didn't want. So I went back and got it. I told them I was going out but most of them decided to join me.

I didn't try and stop them because I just wanted to get outside as fast as possible to start trying things.

As I walked out the front door, it was sort of twilight at night. The sun had just set. The first thing that slammed me in the face was the houses opposite my friends front door. They were 5 stories tall instead of 2. The also had a lot more contrast and color to them. I turned around and saw my sister. I asked to see some writing but she had nothing. I saw a plak behind her head of the house name - it was slowly warping into different gibberish too.

Amazed, but trying to not get too excited because I knew that'd wake me, I ran out onto the street and began walking toward the town's main street which wasn't that far (down a hill for 30 yards, left, then up a slope for 40 yards). As I walked down the first hill I remember trying to fly - I jumped and tried to believe it would happen but it didn't

I then tried to imagine that when I put my hand in my pocket, a bag of weed would appear. Put my hand in my pocket and just felt the stitches at the bottom. Very disappointed but still didn't poop in my party!

I was running up to shop windows looking in at the writing warp and just said out loud! Finally!! I'm fucking dreaming and I know it!

One of the older men that left the house with us was walking beside me and just looked me in the eyes and said "you're dreaming" and smiled. All I could do is look at him and say, "I know it's so amazing! all this time i've spent writing my dreams down and I get a result!"

"Thought you'd be terrified on your first experience but you seem to be handling it quite well"

"No I'd never be scared in a dream dude , who'd you think I am??"

I rubbed my hands together again to make it more vivid but it was getting darker and darker and more into night time. I remember thinking the physical sensation of my body was what it felt like on LSD especially the pins and needles in my hands.

We eventually got to the high street and there were crowds of people there!! All I remember thinking was I wanted to be alone so I could think, practice my powers and shit. There was someone cracking glowsticks and throwing them into the crowd. PSHHHHHH somebody mimiced a glowstick bursting as it landed.

I ran away from the family and friends I was with and went down a back street. Things started getting darker and darker and I could hardly make out the street - I rubbed my hands together, closed my eyes and span in a circle. All I could see was creamy white when I closed my eyes. I was extremely paranoid they had followed me as I was in plain view and for some reason wanted to wake up. I got scared at first when I shook my body and tried to sense my sleeping body. Eventually it happened and I slowly opened my eyes in my bed thinking FUCK YEAH!!!

But my questions stand now - How do I make people i,e megan fox, katy perry etc appear? Do I need to practice in the garage before stepping up to the level of spawning people? Are objects easier to spawn?

      Cheers

Wow, that is an amazing first lucid dream It sounds like you had a lot of time to appreciate how real everything felt. I don't really have any new advice on how to better control things. I always have the best luck when I try to integrate the control into the dream narrative. Things tend to stay the most stable when I use passive control instead of forcing things. It sounds like you were doing it right.

It is not very helpful, but certain things just come easier once you have more practice. For example, I do some things so often, they just feel like second nature. I catch myself exerting control even my non-lucid dreams. It just starts to feel natural. Just keep having fun with it. You have a limitless new world to explore

      Thanks man
Yeah how would you alter the narrative though? Because I sort of had the idea already in my head where I was going to go but I didn't put that idea there it just was there and I played along knowing I was dreaming though

Certain powers are easy for different people it seems. I recently had my first real lucid dream, and I summoned a large group of ninjas just by imagining it, as well as having a slight degree of control over their actions. Whenever I tried changing the shape of my body it caused me to wake up.

      Very nice first lucid, congratulations!

If you want to spawn someone, you can just imagine them behind a corner, a door etc.
But remember, if you try to have sex with someone it will most likely wake you up, so if I were you I would enjoy a bunch of more lucids before starting with sex.

I just had my first lucid dream last night, and I had a similar problem with trying to fly (I was trying to catch this witch lady who was chasing me before I became lucid). I jumped into the air and did what would most resemble a Jak and Daxter double jump but that was about it. Then I figured instead of trying to fly, I'd pretend that I was an animal that could fly, no pressure, just pretend. So I pretended I was a bird, and after a couple of flutters I was airborne! She was pulling away so I thought about transforming into a fighter jet, but then realized that was kind of overkill (I think at this point the chase had me so excited I was snapping out of it) so I turned into a massive pheonix instead and caught her in my jaws! I had a false awaking after that and told my roomates over a bunless hot dog breakfast about my awesome dream! I never would have guess my first LD would have been so violent :/

      *EDIT: And hello everybody!

if you try to make people or objects appear right in front of you it is more difficult. try and image them nearby but in or behind something like a box or closed room. then go and get it! it should be there

Nice first LD, and ancient feelings is right, it is harder for the subconscious to make something appear out of nowhere because your just not used to it happening, expecting something/someone to be somewhere specific seems easier.

Alrite yeah that's true - the reason i wanted the bag of weed to appear in my pocket though was kinda the same principle as it appearing behind a box or a door

Still not had another lucid !! Very disappointed lol

Too bad there is a drug that you just swallow, fall asleep and lucid for hours on end.
