      Dammit >.>

So I felt like attemping to wild the other day, it was around 6 or 7, because that's when I take my naps. After about, mmm 20 minutes I hit SP, I hear a wonderful chirping noise (definatly beats horrfying screams.) And in my vision I see more and more of a forest come into view. Then I find myself laying down in the grass looking up, at the evening sky, a circle of trees around me. I get excited and wake up in my bed. I got up pissed off and stumbled through my chair, yes through. So I'm overjoyed that I was still asleep, then I woke up again... this time for real.

Oh wow, that sounds like an exciting experience (if not frustrating). But congrats on the WILD; waking up isn't a big deal and can happen to anyone, so just remind yourself to stay calm and keep your focus on the dream next time.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

A lot of people get too excited and wake up, and that's especially frustrating after a successful WILD. The only thing you can do is to remain calm and stabilize the dream.

Aaaaah. The sweet feeling of my first almost successful tries... Good times. I bet it was awesome and your whole day was full of joy. At least mine was
      My opinion:
*Lucid Dreams, OBEs, Astral Projections are one and the same.
*There are no levels of lucidity. Quality changes if you apply some deepening.
*Lucid Dreams do not last more than 20 minutes.
      *Wolves are beautiful.

yea even tho it failed ultimatly, the small success made me happy, I've been trying less during naps and more after I've slept for a good while. However, I still havn't found the sweet spot for staying up. 5 minutes too short, 40 minutes too long, 15 minutes too short, 30 minutes too long lol.

That's strange. Even 3 minutes are too much for me.
