Thread: Has A DC ever tried to stop you from getting Lucid

Heyo, I had a very interesting LD a couple of nights ago and I thought I'd share it here with everyone. This is actually the first LD I've had in which I was able to accomplish a couple of things I've been wanting to do in an LD.

So I pretty much woke up to Sleep Paralysis, and as I thought I'd take advantage of this moment. I let it pass and did what I would usually do now given this occasional chance. Within a span of 20 seconds I was already out of bed and ready to start my adventure.

So I walk out of the room and exit the house and notice it's night time. As I was walking down the street and made a left on a certain street I noticed a policewoman with a group of others who wanted me to stop. I didn't want to get caught up with dc's because I felt like I was limited on time, soo I simply looked up and flew upward. As I looked down on the cops and was getting ready to leave and try to make a scene, THEY then flew up to where I was...."Wtf?" I thought and so I just looked forward and started flying away, and they gave chase!! This soon turned into a scene out of Dbz, when they would catch up I would turn on a boost and be surrounded by some kind of energy and I would go like at 1000 Mph, but when I did this, they would do the exact same and catch up with me.

We passed many buildings and after a while we reached a HUGE circular library. This library was easily the size of a portion of a city, and inside there were all sorts of toys, trinkets, creatures, floating, walking, and moving about. There was huge clock tower building in the middle, so I landed and I looked up at this huge pointy clock tower thing in front of me. This was all indoors and the walls of the library were flooded with books, it was like a scene out of a toybox, because it wasn't like any public library would see anywhere, it was all...colorful..and how can I explain this...mmm, christmasy, I dunno... anyway I noticed the cops caught up with me and landed. At this point I got kind of annoyed and I held out my hand and tried to shoot a fireball at the clock tower in front of me.

I failed the first couple of times, and a pathetic little smoke of fartness came out of my hand, but then I tried charging it up and imagined a little ball of flame growing inside of my hand and it worked! After two seconds of charging it I let it go and a flameball shot out of my hand and hit the tower! At this point I obviously got a little carried away and started shooting flameballs at everything in sight, and then I remembered, those dreaded Dc cops who were chasing me and as I was about to turn and fry the crud out of the woman when I lost it all. The scene immediately formed into the room where my WILD started and after doing an RC I confirmed I was awake and that it wasn't a false awakening

So how do you guys deal with Rc's from distracting you? I mean I tried to ignore them but they wouldn't leave me alone!

Ohhh I thought I should add this as well. After this dream the next one I had was about the exact same library, and this time I wasn't lucid I was looking at the books, and then something in my head told me that all this library was actually my brain, and all the books were my memories and information stored in it, and as I was about to pick a book up and open it, the dream ended..... oh how I hate cliffhangers.
