      My Dream Guide is Angry

Hi! I thought I'd create an account and tell you about the dream I had last night because it really freaked me out and I'm kinda worried.

Last night I had a LD and for some reason I remembered reading about "Dream Guides"; that they could help me and tell me stuff, etc. So I called him/her by shouting "Dream Guide, I need you to come". But nothing happened. I started getting frustrated so I thought I would just go visit him myself. "he must live somewhere..." I thought to myself.
I walked to some kind of village (It was like medieval for some reason), and I found a farmer and asked him where my dream guide was.
The farmer said "I can't tell you" so I grabbed him by the shirt and said "You know that I am the creator of this dream. I can destroy you and your family if I wanted to, so tell me where my DG is now!" At this point everything started going blurry and weird but it stabilized soon enough. The farmer got scared and told me that there were rumors about the DG beside the forest outside the village, but said "Don't go looking for him!". Obviously I didn't listen to him because I was lucid and didn't care what could happen.

I walked there and I found an extremely old well. The moment I saw it I knew I shouldn't be there. I walked to it, and threw myself inside (Suicidal, I know). needless to say the fall felt like a million years. Now looking back it reminds me a bit of Alice in Wonderland.
Anyway, when I reached the bottom, I started feeling VERY strange. Like scared or agitated (even though I was still lucid.) I stood up and everything was pitch black. Suddenly I saw a dim light and walked to it, and then I found a silhouette. It was a woman dressed in black, and she had her eyes covered with a blindfold, and in one hand she was carrying some kind of notebook, some words written in like red ink, or blood, idk.
She turned and looked at me, and at that very moment I felt like I was burning. Everything became blurry again and it felt kinda like I was being ripped in half or something. She was furious, I could tell. She said something in another language. I had never heard that language, but I still could understand it.
She said "You shouldn't be here!" Like incredibly mad, furious. At that very moment the feeling that I was in a nightmare intensified tenfold and I was literally terrified, scared for my life, I don't know why. The moment she said those words I woke up.

      I have several questions:
      - I'm almost certain that woman was my dream guide, I could feel it. But she was so young, and...sad, idk. She felt familiar. I'm a guy, so why was she a woman?, and aren't DG supposed to be old, or wise, or at least nice?
      - I'm scared of looking for her again, I woke up literally trembling, I am genuinely scared of her now. Is it dangerous if I try to find her again? Can she damage my mind or something?
      - I feel like at some point I may have lost Lucidity. I mean, when I reached that pitch black place, I felt like I didn't have control over anything. Absolutely powerless. I am certain I still knew I was dreaming, I knew it was my mind, but the feeling of having some kind of control was gone.
Was I dreaming that I was lucid? Or is it possible to enter a realm beyond our control within dreams? I'm afraid I might have stepped into somewhere forbidden inside my mind. I know it sound crazy, but that's honestly how I felt. And I'm quite an sceptic lad.

Thought? Suggestion anyone? Sorry for the long post.

Honestly I don't think it was your dream guide if it responded to you with hostility. If you think you lost lucidity, it could have been the dream taking back over. The farmer said your DG was outside the village, but not in the well, right? Are you sure you were lucid?

      Were you nice?

If you were looking for your dream guide, you are probably interested in more than just fun and games. Usually you look for DG/higher self to learn something about dreams or about yourself. You can't run around bashing peoples heads in yelling where the hell is my dream guide and expect your DG to show and be all nice and cudly. If you expect to be treated nicely, you should probably treat others nicely in a first place. And dreams usually respond to your state of mind - if you angry, scared, expect bad things to happen, it will be reflected in the mood of your dream. Just my opinion.

Please feel free to look around and post any more questions or experiences. Happy dreams

Hi HexSand, nice to meet you here.
I don't want you to answer my question here, but why do you need a DG? Because, many people are looking for DGs for the freak of it, it makes them feel special, or I don't know. A DG, though I treat them as DCs, is more likely to make appearance if you clarify for yoursel what are you looking for, or what do you want to achieve either in waking or dream realms. You should set some goals if you haven't done it yet, then your mind would respond to your search more readily.
Lol, and forget about the expectations. Your mind will create the ideal entity to meet your needs, believe me.

      Hello, nice to meet you.

As Gab said, if you run around bashing heads in you're not essentially putting off a inviting mood-
I suggest the next time you're looking for your DG, have a goal, or a specific reason to find it; if you're generous in your approach as well, it may appear to help you. Also you may not encounter such a feroicous entity.

That's also common in nightmares, to feel to have no control. The main thing to remember is that it is your dream, and in that instance, declare it. Hope I could help.

      -Jay

I suppose it is possible to meet an evil spirit in a dream, though it is really rare. I'm not saying your DG was, it could be your subconscious angry at you. That would mean you are secretly mad at yourself? Funny that.

I was gonna say that evil spirits in dreams stay so well hid that they are often never noticed. They prefer it that way, very few like open confrontation which would more likely reveal their true identity. But confronting one accidentally would get you there. If a DG is supposed to be a representation of your subconscious self it would be ok to meet him or her. I think if I were to seek out my DG that he wouldn't spaz out on me. But everyone is different, you can't tell how a DG will react let alone an ordinary DC.

Yeah, I think the problem is if you go around threatening to kill every farmer's family. Your DG might not be the nicest. For some reason whenever I ask for my dream guide he shows up. I don't know how, maybe it's different for some people? Cause I found mine on like my 3rd LD. And I still suck at flying.

Pleasure to meet you but, if you haven't notest:
The farmer got scared and told me that there were rumors about the DG beside the forest outside the village, but said "Don't go looking for him!". Obviously I didn't listen to him because I was lucid and didn't care what could happen.
The farmer is a part of you, you created him, hes your a part of your brain. DC aren't there for nothing.
Your brain, yourself told you not to go there but you ignored what your own mind adviced you to not go there and you went there anyways. that might've been the problem

No expert here but I might be able to help...

Just remember, it's your dream. It's your world. Take control the next time something like that happens, tell yourself that she is not even real and that you are not afraid of her. I'm not saying open up a can o' whoopass on her, just remember that you are the one in control.
