      My First Lucid Dream?

      I went to bed last night doing MILD and then woke up 5 hours later, so I thought maybe I should try WILD. It got too frustrating because I had to keep swallowing. I gave up and just thought to myself repeatedly that "I'm going to have a lucid dream.". I was in my room, facing the side of my bed. I pushed my finger through my hand and jumped because it actually worked. I pinched my nose and took a deep breath and I can actually breath! I got so excited that I started to float toward the ceiling. I told myself to calm down and was back on the ground again. I was going to try something crazy, but since it's my first lucid dream I should just explore around. I went to the living room and found myself alone in the house, so I walked to the fridge. I told myself that there's a pie inside, and I checked to see a pie pan with a few oreos and a small box of mint. I then told myself that there's a small pumpkin in the microwave and I opened it to really find a pumpkin there! I went back to my room to lay down (My bed changed position). I got a text and it was my dad, asking if I can open the front door. I answered no but the text was "Arline" instead. I woke up.

      Was I lucid if the pie is not actually a pie...? and my text reply was pretty strange

      Yea of course you were lucid. Wierd things happen in lucid dreams sometimes. Just because what you tried to manifest didnt show up didnt mean anything. You get better at these things with time. You were definitely lucid because you were dreaming and was aware it was a dream. That's all it takes.
