Question My first lucid dream (or some other totally unique title)

I love the feeling of air through a closed nose. I'll start with that.

Ok, so I'm lying in bed feeling "drifty" and I fall asleep, I wake up and its dark. I have been doing this for 3 and a half weeks. Waking up from my rem cycles. Anyway I wake up and I know it is early morning. And I think "let's do this" then I shut my eyes...

Boom! I'm hit with the pre sp numbness and think "Ok almost there, Now let's enter". I wiggle my eyes left and right once, trying to mimic the rem, and I feel "the wave".

So now I'm laying down and it just feels "off". Then I realize... I'm seeing through my eye lids
Now I know I'm dreaming but just to check I lift my arm, which is now weightless, to my nose and try to breath. Lo and behold, nice, cool air flows through my fingers, skips the part I am holding and chills the back of my throat.
I roll over to check the time. On a digital clock. The screen is about 3 by 1 inch IRL
I think to my self "this should be interesting" and look at the numbers:

      AJKAIL
      LKIHGU

Were the first two lines out of about 8 on a 3 foot screen... I think "ok well that should change when I look back. Remember the top line started with A"
I look back and it is now: ELGUI something

Both felt like perfectly normal things a clock should say...

I then get up and walk to my bedroom door and say "what am I gunna do in my dream?" Many thoughts race through my minds mind (if that makes sense) and the thing that sticks... Sex.

First know that I am a virgin, and have never even gotten to second base. I will save you all the details of my debauched acts(of which I am not proud of and deeply disturbed by and have no idea why I did, it kinda felt like a "I don't know what came over me" type thing) but will let you know that I had no feeling at all. Not numbness, not touch. Nothing.

During all of the sex scene I kept being "reset" to my bed (I had left my house several times. The first time I thought "damn I just woke up!" But as soon as I closed my eyes I was back is a dream state. (Like I was dreaming I was dreaming) I soon realized I was false awakening.

After a while I new I needed to stop having sex with assorted things, so i thought of a dream door as an escape. I turned around and there it was, plain brown wood, basic design (like the cheapest one in the original Sims) but it served its purpose.

I stepped through and found myself in the world of Minecraft... Low pixel count arms and all.
Even though I had an infinite world in front of me, I soon tired of sprinting around(which was crazy fast btw) so I said out loud "I need another dream door". I felt a presence behind me but I wanted to push myself and make one in front of my eyes. To my amazement I did...kinda.

A wire frame appeared in the dirt blocks, like a CAD drawing, I then forced it to work more( a very unique feeling) and it made itself into a Minecraft style door made out of MineCraft glass...
I opened it, stepped through and closed it on myself. Suddenly I am back in my dream bed and staring at the ceiling. I say "well that was fun" and fall asleep in the dream, sending me unconscious.

      It was AWESOME!
I also found out all sorts of new fetishes. . .

Now a question: I'm told that stress helps induce LD's, does anyone know the science behind this as I was very angry with my mother for patting me on the back when I injured it at "not" work

Hmm I didn't know stress helped induce LDs. In fact, I thought stress inhibits having LDs!
Personally, stress really messes up my recall, though I haven't noticed having LDs when I'm stressed, so far. I wonder if it's possible that stress can induce lucid dreams, but messes up with recall that you can't remember them? I can't wait to read more replies about this.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

I agree with Paigey - stress is not good for lucid dreaming or dream recall.

      Congrats on your first lucid!

I would assume stress helps keep your mind active. I also had massive pain in my spine and I can't see how that would help at all.
But hey I am over the moon that and plan to stay there.

I tried the same things again last night to no avail.
      Stupid roll over signal.

Did it feel strange at all? I felt a bit out of place. Like my body wasn't my body or maybe two bodies...

What I did at that point (and every time a wake up) is RC. For me it worked

      And it will for you
