Very First Lucid Dream

I used the WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream) technique to do this. So after i got up and was trying to fall back asleep to lucid dream i was getting a little frustrated because i couldn't fall back asleep so i guess i kinda just gave up and watched a little T.V. and well i fell asleep. (This is when the Lucid Dream started). I kinda woke up in my dream type deal and i looked over at my fish tank. my goldfish was what it looked like made of static and i was like O.o wtf? so i asked myself am i dreaming? and used one of my RC's (Reality Checks) which was looking at my hand and well i looked at my hand and it was GONE! Like not even there anymore. I got soooo excited (which your not supposed to do) and it started to fade black slowly. I was told to grab something in the dream to stay in the lucid dream and not wake up. So i grabbed my blanket (still in the lucid dream) It Felt So REAL!!! I got up out of bed and walked to my bedroom door and then a blue mist like kinda floated into me and i guess it scared me a little and i felt to the floor and shouted go away and it did. i got back up and opened my door and my dog was there then a purple mist floated into me but i didn't get scared that time and i heard a voice say don't worry it's just the balance of good and evil and then i woke up Yeah i know kind of a waste of a lucid dream but it was my first time.

That's a pretty good start. Kind of like mine, unintentional. My first lucid dream was a DILD. I didn't know of any techniques or what lucid dreaming was when this happened. I was in my living room with all my classmates, my teacher being my mom (yes, very very weird). She posed a question and I put my hand up, suddenly noticing that class was in my living room. That was when I found out I was dreaming. Since it was all a dream, I assumed I can just walk away from class. Then I realized I can just fly away from class. I tried to do this, levitated and woke up.

Hey congrats on the first lucid dream, I remember my first lucid dream like it was yesterday, it was amazing. Some tips for you next time when you feel the dream starting to fade shout 'increase lucidity!' And to make your dream more vivid shout 'increase vividness!'. You'll be amazed how effective just shouting a phase into thin air can be, trust me Anyway on a side note please don't make the same mistake as me. I had a really long lucid dry spell and simply gave up, now 6 months on I want to get back in the game. Anyway it's going to take a ton of effort my dream recall use to be as sharp as a hawk now it's next to nothing so just follow the right path and watch as the lucid dreaming adventure unfolds, I will be on that path again soon.
