Thread: First lucid dream

This is not truly my first lucid dream. Last night after finding this site I decided to employ some of the methods and what do you know, I got a lucid dream, but not much DC.

I almost forgot about it but I magically remembered all of it when I thought of my cat in bed.

The dream:

I'm in my house and I meet and happily cuddle with my cat that died unexpectedly like three weeks ago. Then my parents come and ask how I like (insert very common cat name that I can't remember here) and continued on to say how he looked identical to my old cat which dismayed me. Then my mom said that they got more cats and she opens the door and there are like 7 different cats just playing and being happy so I pet one. Then I did a reality check and thought of how my dad would not get another cat for a long time because he does not like the trouble they bring, let alone get a huge amount of them. I think I did other reality checks that I cannot remember. Also my house felt very surreal and had a strange dark hue to it. This is all I can remember of the dream. I woke up at around 3 A.M. and got angry that I was losing sleep. I know for sure this was not a FA, i fact, as far as I know I never had a FA in my life.
