      My first lucid dream

Ayy, I finally made it! Tonight, I attempted a WILD like I did in the last two weeks, but unfortunately failed. I just couldn't even get into the sleep paralisis. However, after I gave up I fell asleep. The first thing I remember from my dream was doing a Reality Check and BWAM, I became aware!
I got a little too excited and the dream started to collapse, so I instinctively began shouting on top of my lungs and rubbed my hand against each other as fast as I could and succesfully managed to regain the control over my dream.

I walked around a little, probably five minutes and decided to jump off a building. I didn't really fly, but glided through the air. Then I started losing my control once again and decided to rub my hand together again. I brought my hand up quickly, but unfortunately that kicked me out of dream and I found myself lying in the bed with my hands going at full speed into my face...

After the unexcpected facepalm, I did a RC to see if it was a False Awakening, but unfortunately I was really awake.
What is interesting after that experience is that I felt VERY refreshed even though it was 5:30AM, I felt like I slept for fifteen hours and had few energy drinks in past few minutes.

So after failed WILD attempt, I managed to get lucid with a DILD, finally! yeeeeeeeeey.

However, here comes a question - is there anyway to make LD last longer? Like linking through the first dream into another, while keeping my lucid awareness?

A big congratulations to your first lucid dream!
Isn't it a wonderful experience?! I was ECSTATIC the first time I had a lucid

As for your question, yes. It's called dream control, and you can find out all about it from the link provided.
Once again, great job, and keep at it!
(P.S: Your dreams will also be naturally prolonged as you grow in experience)

Yo and congrats on the first lucid dream!
Yup, amazing lucid experiences are pretty inspiring and refreshing, charging you up for the rest of the day to say.
As yuppie11975 said, your dream stability/length will improve as you practice lucid dreaming, the stabilization techniques that you were using like rubbing hands can help too.
By the way, you don't need to experience sleep paralysis in order to WILD, in fact, it's impossible to induce SP experience. If it ever happens it happens like once or twice through lifetime for the most, and it only happens regularly for people with sleep disorder http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...explained.html
For WILD, you just need to fall asleep while being aware, i strongly suggest checking out those tutorials:
      http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...cid-dream.html More basic one
      WILD More indepth one
As for 'going through dream into another'... not sure what you are talking about, but i think you might be interested in DEILD, it's basically shortened WILD and using it it's possible to go right back into same dream scene upon waking up. Check out this tutorial: http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...cid-dream.html

Well, I tried my best to not be too ectatic as it would make me wake up

@Checker666 With 'going through a dream into another', I mean that I jump from one 'dream' session to another, without losing the lucidity. Like linking the dreams together to increase the lenght of a dream.

Perhaps if, when you notice your dream is coming to and end, you thoroughly remind yourself to stay as alert and aware as possible until the next dream comes around? You were on the right track with RCing to see if you were having a false awakening, because basically a false awakening is another dream.
      Current Goals:
      -Break LD Dry Spell[*]
-Remember one object from a dream in complete detail []
      -Completely stabilize a LD []
      -First WILD []

I suggest you could try a DEILD, basically, set an alarm that will auto-shut off after about 30 seconds, when it wakes you up DO NOT MOVE, DO NOT OPEN YOUR EYES, just think to yourself anything, wake up without getting up if you know what i mean, your body will quickly throw you back into a dream with you conscious if you do it correctly
