      Yes!!! Success!!!

So i've been attempting to Lucid dream for about a week and a half now and finally last night i had a lucid dream! I'm so excited! Here's how it went:

I was at a friend's house, and we were sitting up on top of the roof looking at clouds. Suddenly they started swirling around and doing odd, "un-natural" things. At first i was in awe and i thought it was a H.A.A.R.P. being tested by the government, because i live in a pretty low key desert town next to an airforce base and people always blame strange weather on the government "testing" things. What my friend responded to me with, is what triggered my lucidity. He said, "Hahaha, maybe we're dreaming."
Once he said that i decided to do a reality check, i plugged my nose and took a deep breath in. Surprisingly, I COULD BREATHE! I instantly knew i was dreaming and the weather regained it's normal patterns. I was so excited and i told all my friends that "we" were dreaming. They believed me, but they couldn't achieve lucidity themselves, and they didn't act surprised. Now that i was lucid, the first thing i wanted to do was contest gravity. I jumped up into the air and spun around four times before hitting the ground again, then i tried to fly. I jumped about 15 feet high and sailed across the grassy front yard to a slow stop. No matter how hard i tried, i could not actually FLY and take off like superman. My friends tried to fly too but they all fell instantly back to the ground, it was pretty funny. There was a point when i ran out of things to do, and i just wanted to wake up. Shortly thereafter i actually did wake up and i just smiled, and fell back asleep.

What i want to know is, how do you improve the strength of your lucidity? I want to actually be able to FLY, and create landscapes, venues, events, beaches, forests, and summon people, pretty much create my own world at a whim. I know that's probably really advanced but that's what i was expecting from a lucid dream at my age. Any help would be appreciated.

I have one question. How do you run out of things to do in a Lucid Dream? You can do anything you want my friend, you should never run out of things to do.

I've only flown once intentionally, so I cannot give you advice in that department, but I have changed scenery several times. It seems, for me at least, the key to changing scenery is simply to wish for it to do so and not to over think it. I have a vague image in my head of what I want, and I say the name of the place in my head as well, like "jungle" or "home". My subconscious seems to take care of the rest.

Summoning people is a little tricky sometimes. Here I find that you need to envision whomever you want specifically in some detail. Making a person appear is no problem, but making the right person appear is a little tougher. Another trick I try is once I've summoned a DC, I tweak that persons physical attributes until they are the person I want them to be. Try blocking sight of them with your hands and imagining their features to be different once you take your hands away. This is very effective.

If you find a technique other than the ones I've suggested that works better for you, please share. I like to try new things when I become Lucid. I may actually like your technique more, who knows!
      I Dreamed a Dream
In it, saw people I've never seen
      Gone places I've never been
And done things I'd do again.

My method for stabilizing my dream is to stop moving and do nothing or just keep focusing on the dream.
