Thread: Does anyone else have sex in their LD everytime they have a LD?

Hey there,

Most experienced lucid dreamers tend to set themselves dreamgoals. That is, they think in advance on what they want to try or accomplish when they are lucid, with the hopes that they will remember in their dream, and can go work towards their goal.

Without setting goals, it is very easy to simply get lost in whatever urge hits you at the moment of lucidity. For some its sex, for some its flying, for some its fighting, etc

Ofcourse, it can be a lot of fun to just go with it and enjoy yourself when you're lucid. Why not? But if it bothers you, or if you want to try something else then simply working off whatever pleases you at the moment, I'd advice you to set dreamgoals in advance.

hmmm maybe not ALL the time, but yeah, i guess most of the time when i cant think of anything productive to do, i grab the first girl i see.

I actually have the opposite problem... perhaps you could give me some advice, please. I can't ever seem to have sex in a dream without waking up! I've attempted only a few times and all of those times I've woken up after experiencing minimum pleasure! Please help. Do you have some trick that you use to stay asleep? How do you do it?

lol thats what I'd normally do to. good to have goals but its soo hard to not screw that hot chick that walks by.

Hmmm, can't say this is true for me.

I used to every time I had a LD before I knew you could do other stuff. I used to get them about once a week or a few weeks and just imagine hot chicks and fuck them before I knew that I could do other stuff in a LD. But now I know better, but I still have sex once in a while.

There have been a lot of posts about how to have lucid sex, how to have better lucid sex, and how to stay in the dream long enough to finish the lucid sex. Use the search option. If you can't find any, just PM me and I'll dig around and find some for you!

Thanks, seeker, but I've already spent a good 45 minutes looking for said-posts and they simply don't exist. Are you confusing this with another forum? I sometimes do that.

Probably because your not getting sex in real life. If having sex is not an option (For what ever reason) try masturbation. It will stop sex dreams. Though I suggest real sex. It's much better.

Yeah it is much better, but if your single like a few of the last few guys sound like, then you can't compare having sex with an average women in real life, and an absolute Stunner in an LD (even if you don't finish eh Luciddream)

I once knew someone who had nothing but horny dreams, and they were having plenty of sex in real life. some people just have bigger sexual appetites, and not even real life satisfies them.

before i found DV, i would have sex in pretty much every LD i had. now i can think of better things to do. often nowadays in a LD, i will have some task or thing i thought of before the dream. after that, if i am still dreaming, i will go find someone. when i first started LDing, it first would only last a few thrusts before i woke up. but now, it can last awhile (and i even finish sometimes). and when i finish, i am able to dive right back in with no refractory period.

I've only just started being able to induce lucid dream states with more frequency, and actually stay in the state, the last few times I tried having sex with my wife, but it wasn't as good as the real thing; I seemed to be dead down there. So I just gave up and went flying out the window for a bit, and had some very interesting dreams indeed.

I always used to wake up very quickly when I got into a lucid state because I got too excited. So, I guess that makes the whole sex thing a little difficult.

But you know, I'm sure there's a big boy/girl difference here. Give men some wonderful, powerful tool for self discovery and transformation, and we just use it to have sex....

I'm not sure I look at it that way. I go through phases where all I can seem to think of while LD is finding (multiple) other random partners. Doing so in real life would be quite undesirable, even if possible. It's an enjoyable vent that hurts no one. We humans are just sexual creatures, so there's often a natural impulse to get it on when opportunity arises

Of course, I do agree there are other worthwhile experiments / experiences you'd miss out on if you spent every LD shagging! Definitely strive towards other goals, but don't feel bad if you 'waste' a night enjoying yourself

Because you can't help it! It sucks. I can't do anything because of this problem. My lucid self thinks about only one thing... And that's not how I am IRL!

I used to have sex in my LDs nearly everytime.. then It was flying

I think it depends on your surroundings when you become lucid. If you can't change your surroundings you just work with them.. and if theres people about and your feeling naughty you go and screw them.. where as if you become lucid in some fantastical world the thought of sex probably isn't the first thing.. you will want to fly about and have a look around.

I have sex a few times but not every time. Theres more fun things to do. The couple of times I do have sex I ended up finishing in about 4 seconds but it felt so unbelievably good! It was just like, *insert* thrust thrust "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhh god yeah!"
The only thing the masturbating before bed does is that when I have sex in a LD I don't end up waking up afterwards and having to clean up. Which is good really.

But mostly I only have sex when I am going with the flow of the LD and not taking matters into my own hands. (Why did everything in that sentence sound dirty?)

Basically work on your dream control and you should be able to stop it.

if you go to sleep for 5-7 hours then wake up then go back to sleep you will go straight into rem and your allllllllot more likley to lucid
