I wouldn't put too much emphasis on your "Dream Guide".


They have only as much significance as you put on them. They are not scientifically proven links to the subconscious / dream state.

I'd say give it another try, but Goldney has a point too.

I would also try again if I were you. You can change his appearance/attitude when you get more control if you have a problem with him. Or you could try to befriend him. Another option still would be to use some dream powers to show him who's boss

i agree with higurashi, try to befriend him, try to change his attitude and if that dosent work send him flying towards a flaming building

He wasn't intending to say tht they don't work, he was only saying that they are not static variables of the dream world. If you find that your DG is a murderer the first time you meet him, then you don't have to be disheartened thinking that he will always be this way- it's a dream that YOU control, and "Dream Guide" is only a term provided by lucid-communities like DreamViews to help you discuss experiences better, not some kind of scientifically studied fragment in your brain The dream world is your world, change it how you wish, there's no need for you to hold back and be humble and kind-hearted or sensible and drug-wise, you can do what you want and make people react how you want.

thats good advice jimmeh, i think i can grasp what your saying because i know my lucid dreams have been the most fun when i am completely the man and use no caution as to the things i do.

on a side note, my dream aslo included a part where right after the purple man a DC told me to go to germany to find my real DG. but i couldnt figure out how the heck i can teleport there.. anybody have any experience with teleporting? what "medium" is best to do this like tv set or mirror or water...? i tried jumping in a puddle but i only fell through it and went underground into the subway station lol

It seems more fun then simply receiving a Dream Guide. You get to go on an adventure for one

i say u try to summon your DG again... hell atleast yours rode away, my first time meeting my DG he killed me.....the first 358734 times i met my DG he made attempts at my life ..... i think i met him june/july.... im proud to say i just beat him last night ..
