Strange phenomenon with dreaming that I'm lucid

Out of the dreams I had last night, only one seemed really worthy of writing down... Right off the bat I was "lucid," playing a shared lucid-dream game. I read a thread on this possibility a while ago on DV. Although i was "lucid," I wasn't actually lucid. I dreamed that I was lucid instead of being lucid. The dream itself was pretty epic and interesting, but it's not what this thread is about. I recall from this dream, multiple times where I attempted to break from the storyline of the dream and carry out my dream goals, which were actually my dream goals in real life. The only difference was the way I went about it. I tried to conjure a dream character magically out of thin air when I would actually have used a phone, had I been lucid. Each time the storyline would pick up where it left off. I think it's such a mindfuck that how when I wasn't actually lucid in this dream, and even though non-lucid dreams have a very random nature, I was trying to do my REAL lucid goals, when i would think I would have some abstract crazy goals.
