wierd experience. is it lucid or not?

ok last night i had a strange dream

in the dream i was in bed attempting a wild (i've never successfully wilded) so after a couple of seconds of just laying there in my dream i started to feel tingling and the lead blanket associated with sleep paralysis so then i felt a dream forming and for some strange reason i knew i was dreaming but i still went on with the wild attempt. an unstable dream environment formed and i felt an earth quake and then i woke up.

it was like a lucid dream inside of a dream. i dont know but it was weird i hope to actually get a lucid next time

I've had dreams of performing a WILD (and even entering SP) within a dream, without knowing that it was a dream in the first place. Sometimes I actually enter a new dream and then become lucid, but sometimes the dream just ends and I actually wake up.

I wouldn't say you were lucid, until you got into the new dream.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Thanks, and no problem. Good luck with more lucids.

You acknowledged you were in a dream, therefore it was a lucid dream.

Isn't there a topic on this already so there aren't so many of these threads? Probably not, as it's just the very definition of a lucid dream....

      Good luck with more lucids!

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
