      lucky me ^.^

      well, i am new, but i thought i might say that i never remember NOT having a lucid dream. i do it as a casual thing. its realy a bloodline thing i think.

      last night i dreamed eating apple pie (i was starving when i went to bed( i made the apple pie, it wasnt there.)) and then i accidently set my kitchin on fire(pyrokenisis) i put tthe flames out. and started to fly around and editing the planet(i enjoy that) and then got bored. so i decided to wake up(i like the dramaticc way.) so i land. kneel down() close my eyes. and then just feel the world disapear around me, (particle by particle) and then stand and open my eyes. everything is white. and then fade out. and wake up ^.^

      then i went downstairs and grabbed some real apple pie! (homemade)
      Dreaming can be hard.

      Not really. There are a lot of reasons. Wanting to not forget a specific part, something important you just remembered, or complete boredom. :/

      Not necessarily. He could have been manipulating fire, but it got out of control? Being able to snuff them out easily is pretty good dream control.

      So, what, you never have non-lucids? Or you've always been able to LD, but not every night?

      I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.

      It's pretty darn near impossible for ANYONE to have an LD each night his WHOLE life. I mean, yeah, we sometimes have a period of 5 or 6 days or more where we get a sudden increase in the frequency of our LDs, but it certainly doesn't last THAT long, unless he does nothing but do inducement exercises all day long, and I don't think he does.
      Furthermore, we can't really say anything until we see him post some more. As far as I can see, the original post in this thread is the only one he ever did.

      It's pretty darn near impossible for ANYONE to have an LD each night his WHOLE life.
      My thoughts exactly. Alas, he is likely to forever be a mystery.
