Interesting idea. Well I do something similar. I always try to remember some dreams and I imagine the situations and possible chances to enter lucid dreaming state.

Visualize yourself entering the lucid state or realizing that you are in dream. Not just saying that as mantras but also imagine.

If you can say "This is just a dream!" while you are dreaming then you have LD. Simple... I would advice you to try to calm your mind while dreaming. Learn how to control the dream. Don't just rush...

Try to put more concentration into RCs in a real life. Like stop your mind and feel the present moment. Feel your body and yourself being awake. Feel the reality. This helped me in the beginning....
