Today was an interesting day. Rant: I was walking back to the parking lot after groceries, and saw a lady holding up a cardboard sign. She was shivering, making groaning sounds, and I could do...

There is no need to visualize throwing it away or saying it in your mind, that was just a metaphor. In daily life, your brain is constantly being conscious, and fights against going unconscious. That...

thanks everyone. Paigeyemps, woah, MILD has always seemed pretty hard to me. It's just that while dreaming I find dancing with Charlie Chaplin one of the most normal things ever, haha! I always...

Good deal! The biggest obstacle that I used to have with falling asleep was the issue of racing thoughts. Not bringing my daytime concerns to bed with me was a big step forward here. If stray...

All right, good to hear that you had an uptick in recall! WBTB does help with this as well, I've found. I realize now that I should have been clearer -- the technique that I described is what I...

I had some trouble with this before as well. I'll describe how I addressed it and you can give this a try if it sounds appealing. Try to minimize your exposure to light during your WBTB. I just...

Ah no worries. That happens to me more than I'd like to admit. Maybe you were just too tired? Did you try WILD? Maybe you need a mantra or something to visualize?

That also happened to me the first few times I did WBTB. Last night I did it, staying up the longest I have so far, and it went pretty well. I didn't recall dreams the way Id like or successfully...

Welcome to the class, Santoryu! Canis is right. The important thing when it comes to dream recall is intention. Just try to remember them, and keep putting importance on your dreams. The more you...

Welcome, Santoryu! It's good to have you here. You've got a nice collection of dream signs going, so I have to assume that you are keeping up a regular dream journal. If not, that's going to be...

KingYoshi's DILD Tutorial So, I already have a WILD tutorial, but now it seems I am getting a lot of questions about my DILD method, all day awareness, and proper RC technique. I've decided to...

Hello everyone, I am Chiara (fyi: spelt as 'key-uh-rah'). I grew fond of lucid dreaming about a week ago, and I've spent these days looking endlessly for more and more informations - and that's how I...

I'm going to share a technique that brought me from regular lucids (2 per week on average I think) to almost nightly. I am not exactly certain why it works, but I might post a theory later on in...

You're welcome :) I have sort of lived in this mindset myself for a while, but never actually written it down on "paper" so it was good that you asked, it made it clearer for me as well. ;) It...

There was this massive party going on and there were loads of people at it. Outside the hall, in the corridor, next to the stairs up there is a slide, which twirls all the way down to the entrance to the building. The whole place has this extremely comfortable feel to it. The corridor has red, lush carpet which leads all the way to this epic slide. At some point during the day I leave the building and go outside to a McDonald's with a few friends.
One friend leaves when we've reached McDonald's and I go in with the others. The McDonald's looks like the burger town in one of the spec op missions in modern warfare 2, as it's surrounded by trees and there aren't many other buildings around. Even the weather seems to be the same as in the game, sunny but close to dusk.
I was arguing with my friend, I'm not too sure what about. I realised that I was very hungry and I wanted food. So I went out to get something. I had an urge for a kebab, so I went to a shop that sells them. I got there and asked for one. The dude over the till asked if I wanted to see a magic trick, I said yes. He asked for my phone and I gave it to him. I saw it in his hand and then it was gone. It just disappeared. It then reappeared, it was amazing. Looking at the time I realised I was getting late and so I got my phone back and just bought a baguette and wolfed it down.
