      Question Progressively worse nitemares!

Lately since I've started growing out of lucid dreaming, I've started having lots of nitemares. They've started with slow normalish nitemares just very general. Now ill wake up in the middle of the night scared out of my mind. I rarely sleep with out a tv on or a light. I have trouble remembering my nitemares except that they scare the hell out of me. I would love to get over them and move back into lucid dreaming but insted of LD's im having a lot of nitemares because of my main way of LDing is the WILD process. When i start to go into SP i just start going into a nitemare like being pulled under my bed and demons in my room and not being able to move. I would love some advice on how I could, or how you got over some nitemares. Thanks!

Then you're probably better of with a different technique, WILD isn't for everyone.
The demons and monsters or whatever will only appear because that's what you're expecting.. If you expect fairys and little angels to pull you out in SP thats what will happen, stop watching horror films.

You know what SP is, you know what a dream is, so there's absolutely no point in being scared, its you scaring you, no one else. That little demon that pulls you out of your bed or whatever, is only there because you think he will be, and so what if he is, its just a dream right?

these used to scare the crap out of me, and what I used to do was close my eyes and concentrate on my breathing in and out for aprox 20 seconds, and if i opened my eyes at the right moment, I would become lucid. for you, try to just ignore whats going on behind your closed eyes and it will be over within 10-40 seconds.

What you are describing are sensations and hallucinations you get in SP and not dreams. Have you ever get past the SP stage and entered a dream while WILDing? If yes, was it a nightmare?

I have experienced falling through my bed and floating out of my bed. If I had not read about this before, I would have thougt that somebody is doing this to me and would have probably freaked me out. So read up as much as you can about SP and what to expect, so you are ready for it. But if you had enough, try MILD/DILD. No SP or hallucinations involved. Happy dreams

once instead of the regular SP I get, I was lying on my stomach and I started vibrating so strongly that I vibrated off my bed, freaked out and in the dark I tried to open my door and it wouldn't budge. Had to use all my might and when I left my room I was in regular dream land
