technically I'm an agnostic, because I know that I cannot disprove God. But still, I call myself an atheist, because I'm so sure that God does not exist. Not 100% sure, but as sure as I am that unicorns don't exist. I mean, you can't really disprove ANYTHING. One person used something called the "Teapot analogy":

Someone says that there is a teapot orbiting around the sun. But no one can prove it because it's extremely unlikely to actually find the teapot with a telescope. You'd have to look everywhere, which would take an unimaginable number of years to explore every square inch or the solar system. So, there's no proof. But, though there is a complete lack of evidence, you still cannot disprove that there is a teapot orbiting around the sun. But still, you know that in all likelihood, there is not teapot orbiting around the sun, so that you are almost 100% sure that there is not teapot orbiting around the sun. It's the same thing with God.
      Carl Sagan quotes:
"Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere."
"The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition."
"It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring."
