Actually, the bible continues to say in Gen 3-21 "The Lord God made clothing from the hides of the animals for Adam and his wife to ware."

So he did, but he didn't "specifically [give] them clothing and [instruct] them to wear it." Humans made clothes first, and I interpret Genesis 3:21 to mean that God was merely giving their clothes a bit of an upgrade. After all, leaves are a really crappy material for clothing.

you seem to think we somehow threaded leaves together into a garment like in the movies, now we were holding bunches of leaves to cover our butts in shame of god seeing that we are naked. and so god (made) the clothing, (gave) them to us, and (instructed) us to wear it, we never had any in the first place. and please read the bible before using it out of context.
