Alright, so I know this is kind of the same thing as ONLYWILD's posted as an idea for an experiment he was doing, but that was on Monday I believe and he has never said anything about whether it succeeded or not, so I decided to take matters into my own hands.
On Saturday, I will be listening to binaural beats all day while doing my everyday life, and I'll try to think mostly about lucid dreams during this time. At night, for the last 2 hours before I go to sleep, I will open up Microsoft Word and type "I am dreaming." The goal for my experiment is to see if constantly thinking about lucid dreaming during waking life has an effect on lucid dreaming frequency. I know that if you think about lucid dreaming you'll probably have them more, but I mean your whole day revolving around them. If you don't believe I'll do this, trust me, on the weekends I have virtually nothing to do now that my best friends (they're brothers) are in Europe, my other friend is visiting his Aunt in Florida, and I don't feel like doing anything with anyone else this weekend. I hope that I'm not wasting my whole Saturday, but even if I do, it's not a big deal because I have nothing other to do, and if I feel like it I'll try it next Saturday too, just to make sure that if I do succeed it wasn't just a spontaneous lucid dream.
Sorry if this was a bit confusing, I'm trying to speed write this as I'm supposed to be going out to dinner with my friend in about two minutes!
