I find it easier to become lucid when Im in a different place from home. |

Yet another curiosity has hit me. Do any of you find it easier (Or perhaps harder) to attempt lucid dreaming if you aren't at your own home? Obviously it can be quite hard if your spending the night at your friend's house, but let's say if you were Camping, or on Vacation somewhere nice (Sleeping spot being a hotel). What do you guys think? I can confirm that Dream Recall is a bit better if i'm camping (In a Camper, not a Tent. ), But i'm a little curious because im going to be on vacation in maybe a month or so, going somewhere really nice. To add on to that, a night might be spent on an airplane. |

As long as the situation presented is relaxed and you are getting some decent sleep, the yeah it's definitely better. |

Interesting. Like i said, i usually sleep in a camper, and i usually end up waking earlier than usual, so that could explain alot. |

If you sleep in an unfamiliar location then you will instinctively be more "on your guard", and this should have a powerul effect on your LD success rate. |

Coldness might be an important factor when camping, to promote some REM |

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way
