I've been attempting to see more than is normally possible in a dream compared to when awake.
My general idea of this had been to manifest additional eyes somewhere on my body (the back of my head, a hand, etc). But recently, I had a dream where I reached a point of indecision, and made both choices at once. The result was my dream experience becoming two dream experiences, each with their own unique perspective for a few moments before I woke up.
Recently, I have been imagining what other people's experiences are - what they are perceiving with all their senses, how they're feeling, what they might like and dislike, etc. I think maybe that contributed to my dream experience of being two people at once, brief as it was.
Rather than necroposting in one of them, here are some interesting threads along these lines:
Three Perspectives at Once
First and Third Person
More Perspectives
I suppose I'm mainly curious about doing this on purpose, rather than by chance. Unfortunately, the statistical analysis of my lucid dreaming frequency appears to show a trend of about 10 lucid dreams a year. So progress is anticipated to be painfully slow in this area. But if you would like to also try this kind of thing, and are willing to share your experiences here, that would certainly be appreciated
