No, I usually just run through things to avoid the hassle of decision making. |

I'm walking and encounter a tree, a telephone pole, or something else like that. I can't decide whether to go left or right. I have no reason to choose one side over the other, so my mind makes up certain meanings for each side. |

probably OCD? |
|
I try to focus on the present and not worry what future consequences my choices now will have. |

Well I described exactly what it was in detail. If you want to put the label on it go ahead. But it seems when people use that they think it's some volition I just can't control, and ignore the fact that there are mental processes involved which make some sense when broken down. |

We try to always rationalise things. You're just rationalising the emotion you felt. People with OCD also do this, we just forget that when the thing is written down in a book like some sort of disease. |

No, it's okay. I know it's OCD, you're right. I had used the term in the OP but deleted it because of what I said in my last reply. |
|
That's what I'm saying. |

The left is for commies. |

I'm not focused enough to have bigger troubles with OCD. |

Something kinda similar goes through my head whenever I'm walking around posts or fences or whatever in the street. Sometimes when I'm walking with other people and we come to a pole or something, some of us will take the left side while others take the right. And I get this funny idea that whatever side we choose, it will determine what will happen with our lives or something along those lines. Like the group that took the left side will live fairly boring, average lives, whereas the ones who took the right will become very successful. |

Being intelligent can be a pain in the ass sometimes. |

Too much trolling on this thread. |

I know what you mean actually. Or I get the feeling that if I don't do something, like choose a certain direction or play a certain song that comes up or something, it will cause something bad to happen. Then I try to dismiss it since it doesn't make any sense, but part of me is like "you'll regret not doing it if something bad happens!" and..I normally end up doing it, lol. Similar to Heavy Sleeper also, I sometimes feel like things like walking on the opposite side of a pole as someone is symbolic somehow. A lot of other things feel that way, too. Gotta say I have a strong preference for the right side of anything most of the time though. |

I wanted to read those dark! God damn you. |

Deleted like half the thread :\ |

It's okay. There was one thing I wanted deleted. I don't know how much was deleted. |
