Yes, I hear that lucid dreamers all worship Satan and drink the blood of innocents.

I completely agree, too be honest I was going to post a thread like this myself. You people should be ashamed of yourselves, letting the devil use you as his tools like this.

My brother got into lucid dreaming. Ten years later he was doing heroin.
If God wanted us to lucid dream, it would be in the bible.

Lucid dreaming can become a drug. The more you do it, the more you become addicted to it, until you have found that sleeping is all you can do anymore. My friend lost his job, his wife, and his car because he just wouldn't get out of bed. He kept rambling on about how he was so powerful in his dreams.

Also, the large amount of REM periods ruin your eye muscles, and can make you blind.

It's ridiculous. The power rush in the dreams just makes people more power-hungry in the waking life.

Guys, I'm a little bit concerned as to how lightly you're treating this issue. I wasn't joking and I truly believe that Lucid Dreaming does nothing but Harm for the poor soul. These people are lured In with fantastic claims of flying, power, and a virtual position of God that is all too tempting. This can't be good, giving somebody ultimate power once or twice every month and then just taking it away. It's a classic case of teasing a dog with a doggie treat - studies have been done on kids in the classroom, those who watch TV are usually much more depressed, bored, and downright dull compared to those who don't, because the kids who watched TV expected the classroom to be as fun and exciting as their favorite TV shows when in reality it was not. Such is the case with Lucid Dreaming, only much more severe.

Lucid dreaming really is a drug.

Kids are doing this lucid dreaming thing because they are picked on by the football players if they don't do it. And its messages are in today's music when you play the songs backwards. If you play Ashlee Simpson's latest album backwards, it says, "lsabkdsek idojif rere er kledjuj prhighdt," which has been interpreted by high strung religious fanatics to mean, "Dream that you are dreaming. Kill puppies." Civilization's days are numbered.

When you guys can really prove LDing is dengerous and that normal dreaming is not same as lucid dreaming, a cat will fly...Those who want to spend their lives LDing, leave em, but im still not stoping my self from having them..I only use lucid dreams to have some fun and entertain myself. Also where in the Bible does it state that lucid dreaming is satanic?????? Howcome god used a dream to give messages to moises? huh Who cares what you guys think. its good you chose to end your own LDs Atleast you thought they were hurting yous. First of all, if i mean if lucid dreaming was satanic, yous have already sinned. But if you choose to believe lucid dreaming is not! satanic, then you have not sinned at all. People yous are going sycko mombojombo. God created us to see if we can manage to survive and to discover new posibiltys that are way beyond our imaginations. Thank him for the gifts he has gave us. If lucid dreaming was satanic at all, then it would count us humans in the list of having supernatral abilities (LDing) as being a gift from the devil. First of all wake up and think outside the box instead of ruining peoples chances of ever experiecing this phenomena, this discovery god hid from us so we can find it ourselfs just like he let us to survive on our own.

God put many things on this earth to tempt us - Lucid Dreaming is just one among the many including drugs and sex.

This is exactly the kind of thinking that the destroyer has entered into your brain. People think, 'Oh lucid dreaming is harmless.' but look at the evidence! Look at how many people have died.
I warn you now.. stay clear of lucid dreaming. It's just not worth it.
