Definately will be trying this one when I'm in a better state of mind. That looks incredible though. |

In the fashion of the 'smarter than a _ grader' posts, I've decided to challenge you guys with my all-time favorite logic puzzle - The Self-Referential Aptitude Test! |

Starry starry night, paint your pallet blue and gray,
Look out on a summers day,
with eyes that know the darkness of my soul.

I'm very happy to see that I'm not the only one who finds such mental somersaults appealing. I only wish there was more stuff like this... If this proves popular, I might post some more of my favorite logic problems (not the kind with cheap answers or those dreadfully boring, inside-the-box logic-grid problems) in this thread or others. |

My brain! It hurts! If this is that, then that is this, but that contridicts that so now I have to take untracable steps backwards... |

Actually, I did it in less than an hour with nothing but a pen to cross out or circle answers. No systems to set up, just pure logical deductions. No trial and error, either (unless you count "if 9 is B, then 10 can't be A, but it has to be A otherwise 11 is wrong, so 9 isn't B" as a trial and error process {made up those numbers}). Give it a second look, perhaps the properties of this test didn't sink in fully or something. |

When in doubt, always guess "C". |

Crap, sorry I made a typo in that spoiler. |

Aaaaaand I'm bored. I know there's a flaw in it somewhere, but I don't want to destroy what I've done, because most of it makes sense. And I'm too lazy to find the 'true' source of the flaw at the moment. How close was I? |
