Actually that is not alot at all. 100% DV is a few mg. Your headache was probably because of something else. I've taken 300 mg of B6 and haven't had any side effects. |

So, the other day I posted my concern over starting a B-6 regimine and I made a boo-boo. I ate a bowl of cereal which contained 100% DV vitamin B-6. Didn't read the label. Later, before going to sleep I had one 100mg tab of B-6 and woke up 14 hours later with a dull throbbing headache and slight nausea. Oops. Guess I need a new cereal. |

Vitamin B6, just 2 pill give me some nausea. Side effects will be non noticeable for most of the people. |

100% is actually a tiny amount (probably something like 2mg) especially compared to your 100mg tablets. You'll be fine ^^ |

B vitamins are water soluble, meaning if you take in any extra that your body can't use, you'll just urinate the rest out. Too much Niacin (B3) might make you flushed, etc., but other than that you shouldn't really suffer any side effects. Of course if you find that you do (as everyone reacts differently to different substances), then by all means quit taking the supplement. However, you should be fine. |

Altough B vitamins are water soluble, if you take 300 mg daily or more it is possible to get nerve toxicity in the long run, be warned. |
