This happens to me, if I'm just being lazy around house, doing nothing physically or mentally draining. So I don't get sleepy by decent time, go to bed late, wake up late, and the vicious circle continues.
Engage in some activity during day. Go for a long walk, or anything, that will make you tired. Try to push your bed time forward little by little.
Or, get up in the morning in normal time, even if you sleepy from not enough sleep. It may be easier to go to sleep in normal time this way.
It's also possible, that you have lots of stuff on your mind that keeps you awake. Until you make peace with your situation, you may have problem falling asleep. good luck
