      Problems trying to WILD (orly?)

      Hey everyone
I've been lurking around for a while now, but just now decided to post some problems I'm having when trying to WILD with hopes that some of you can help me
I have this problem, where I take too long to fall asleep normally for some reason, and I rarely fall back asleep when trying to WILD with WBTB, and when I do it takes a LONG time. Here's my problem though, when I try WILDing I get to see some HI (some dark purple, blue or red sometimes blurs, just abstract stuff) but that's about it. I never get past that. Usually I spend about 30 minutes laying down motionless (besides some twitching), but more than once I have spent more than 1 hour motionless (counting from 1 to 300 VERY slowly) only to stop at HI.
I just have a few questions that would help me a lot if someone answered for me

      1) Can I listen to music while trying to WILD? I don't mind staying 1 hour motionless, but I'd prefer it a lot if I could listen to Radiohead while doing it

      2) Am I supposed to change positions after some time? I read somewhere (either here or ld4all) that you should after a while because your body checks it or something...

      3) Am I not doing something I'm supposed to?

      4) Would it help if I started practicing meditation?

Anyways, thanks in advance and sorry if I wasn't very clear, my first language unfortunately isn't English

I've never been able to WILD, but I know how it's done (kind of).
      1) Maybe. This one really varies between people.
      2) No, unless you think you're in a lucid dream.
      3) N/A
      4) Maybe. I think meditation helps with recall and lucidity.
Sorry if this isn't too much help.
I don't usually think, therefore I mostly am not.

Likewise, you cant teach some one who looks for facts to have faith in the absence of facts.

      Thanks for answering those questions
Well, I've tried WILD and CANWILD loads of times, but they never work, and the only lucids I had (only three) so far were all DILD, so I think I'm going to try and improve that, or maybe try other techniques
