Unhappy Butterflies in my tummy after laying there for a while?

So, whenever I'm attempting to WILD (WBTB style), I always get these butterflies in my stomach after laying still for a while. The more I wait, the more uncomfortable they become until body is basically screaming for me to reposition. Is this just something I need to tough through in order to get to Sleep Paralysis? A few nights ago I lost 3 hours of sleep because I kept repositioning because of these butterflies before I finally gave up my WILD attempt and fell asleep. If anyone could shed some light on this-please do! Thanks!

Jeff777 wrote a good tutorial called mind awake, body asleep. and yes his advice is to just tough it out... after the strong urge to turn over passes you should hit SP sooner.

Everytime you reposition yourself it's like starting over from the beginning. You're never going to advance to the next stage if you keep moving around. Perhaps you need to adjust your timing for practicing WILD to a more optimal phase in your sleep/wake cycle. It sounds to me like both your body and mind are too awake, at what time are you WILDing?

Also keep in mind that your digestion system slows to a halt during sleep, so I'm not sure, but that could have something to do with the sensation in your stomach.
