      Semi-Successful First WILD

I actually went through the strong sensation of vibration I was getting and came out onto the other side to suddenly have dream elements pop up in front of me. In this case, there was a bowl of chocolate pudding and a spoon in my hand (presumably because I had been laying down with my hand in a slightly open position in front of me, as if holding something). Conscious of what I knew about stabilizing dreams from previous DILDs, I decided to eat some of the pudding to try to deepen the dream by engaging the senses more fully... but bringing the spoon to my mouth made my hand give a feeble little shake and wake me up. My entire first WILD consisted of getting one taste of chocolate pudding.

My hand didn't move much, just a little, but apparently it takes some time for SP to kick in completely, or something. People experienced at WILD, how long should I just sit and watch the dream develop before trying to make any large movements?

Wait until everything appears. The entire dream-scene must be present. If just a spoon and pudding appeared, then that was probably just HI.

something like that happened with me on my first WILD, I was able to feel my body laying on its side all numb while the dream was appearing. I tried to control my body to soon and woke myself up.

Yeah, what you saw was probably some borderline HH/HI (you in that inbetween reality and the dream state...like the moments between the transition and what you are transitioning into). You were in the dream, but not completely...hard to explain, lol. Anyway, It seemed the dream scene wasn't formed quite yet and you still had a minor connection to your actual body. Try and ride it out and wait for everything to stabilize and settle down. That was hilarious, btw. Never heard of anyone transitioning into a dream state where they were holding a bowl of pudding, lmao. That is awesome! You were very close and just needed to give the dream a chance to fully form around you. When you forced movement, it kicked yourself out of SP. Movement should always be easy and fluid...don't force anything during the WILDing process (not until you get into a stable environment).
