      My First Successful WILD!

Hello, I've been reading through guides on these forums for WILD'ing for a while, and have been trying for a couple weeks to have one until this morning I finally had my first successful WILD.

I actually went mostly by Yoshi's WILD guide so thanks to him!

Anyways, I woke up at 3AM after about 6 hours of sleep. I listened to about 30 minutes of Ninja's Subliminal MP3 3.0, while relaxing. I actually almost fell asleep here but caught myself. I took off the earphones and lied on my side which is most comfortable. I just kept my mind blank and let it wander keeping myself just at the edge of sleep. I did some reverse blinking and after about 15 minutes I felt some stiffness and twitching in my legs but just ignored it. I think I must've dozed off here because I don't remember anything but I know after about 30 minutes I somehow became alert again and felt extremely violent shaking. After about 5 seconds of this shaking I felt like I was being thrown off my bed. All of a sudden everything was calm and I was still in my bed in a different position, and I didn't remember changing my position. Also, the lights were on in my room and I knew I had them off so I did a RC to be sure. I realized I was dreaming and I stood up. I stabilized the dream by touching things around me, smelling things, and observing my hand. Everything seemed so real that I almost forgot I was in a dream and I did another reality check. Then I smoked a bowl of weed out of one of my very first pipes from years ago that I no longer had. I remember I kept getting paranoid that I was going to get caught (probably because I felt like this when I smoke in my house sometimes). I decided to try to fly off my balcony but every time I was about to go do it my mom kept walking into my room to do different things. My dream continued like this and I kept getting distracted by her. It didn't occur to me that I could do anything I wanted.

Anyways, that's how the rest of my dream went and it wasn't exactly an awesome dream but I am very glad I have finally performed a WILD.

I'm going to try to WILD again tonight. Thanks for reading this long ass post, but just one question. Is that normal that somehow my mind kind of woke up again just as I was transitioning? Maybe it was because of the Subliminal MP3? or just chance. idk.

Hehe. Congratulations. ;D But I want to ask. Why don't you use DEILD? It's so much easier. I almost got into LD during my first try. The hard part of DEILD is waking up after dram ended, but there is an awesome software Think Right Now subliminal software (download torrent) - TPB . Just create new file which will say "I will be aware the next time I wake up after my dream ended" or something similar.
      My opinion:
*Lucid Dreams, OBEs, Astral Projections are one and the same.
*There are no levels of lucidity. Quality changes if you apply some deepening.
*Lucid Dreams do not last more than 20 minutes.
      *Wolves are beautiful.

You ever try this at night time instead of morning, and how long did you lay down in total 30 minutes? Closest I got was I was in a room with lights on (this was in my head, i didn't actually see it as a dream, i seen it as basically I was thinking about something) but all of sudden i seen the lights turn off and my imagination just got like darker

Well, I'll only try to WILD after 6 hours of sleep, which for me would be early in the morning.

I've tried WILD'ing before any sleep when I first heard of WILD but I got nowhere and I don't suggest you try it.

I after relaxing and listening to the MP3 I was laying down for about 30 min (I think)

I've never heard of this happening to a first timer, but it's exactly what happened to me this morning. I've had WILDs the past 2 days and was trying again this morning, but I kept getting distracted by random noises and was unable to maintain focus. So I gave up and decided to just fall back asleep normally and right as I fell asleep I recognized the feeling and went straight into a lucid dream. It was pretty awesome because I had given up completely but still managed to be successful. Gratz on your first! I'm sure there will be many more to come.

@Purebred You do DEILDs out of non lucids? I can chain lucids together with DEILDing, but never done one out of a non lucid.
