      Not falling asleep in WILD

Hi, I lose awareness when WILDing within like five minutes and then fall asleep.I currently cant use WBTB with WILD right now, so my only option is WILDing when going to bed. I also cannot use any external devices except an alarm clock. How can I stay focused enough to not fall asleep immediately?

The only thing that has worked for me is WBTB, but that is because I have used an alarm..... I set my first alarm for say 440 am, but I'm still so tired and don't want to get up yet, so I turn dismiss that alarm, and I already have another one set for 520 or 530 to wake me again when I know I will get up. This has successfully worked for me during the work week when I never thought I could LD, on the weekend I had one successful LD, I went to sleep around 745, woke up around midnight, couldn't fall back to sleep, so I stayed up for about 2 hours, until I was tired...and then successfully had an LD.... so I think with WBTB it can be different depending on how tired your body is or isn't, and how much time you leave between waking up and going back to sleep... but so far this is the only method that is working for me.

      I use android phone alarms.

On the topic, I've been having that trouble as well. Still haven't WILDed yet. I'm trying every night. Although it is hard because I can't (really) try multiple times per 24 hours.

I cant use any alarms As in, the only time I can set my alarm for is 8:00 am for school. I can use absolutely no external devices!
With that said, how can I retain my awareness?

You could try WILD earlier, or drink some coffee i usually have a small cup and a cig that keeps me awake enough to do wild befor bed at night.
