      My wilding problem.

I am having a problem wilding. Every time i try even if its for 40 mins to an hour nothing happens exept little lights behind my eyelids. I have a horrible time tring not to swallow or move and i have to keep fighting musle spasams. What should i do to succesfully wild? Last time i tried the highlight of it was that my arm fell asleep.

Did you try going into idle thoughts (daydreaming ?)
it might be cause you're focusing too much and/or not relaxed enough

Don't worry about swallowing or moving a little bit. If you are lying there worrying about not moving or swallowing, then that will likely keep you awake, or distract from your goal. You are suppose to be going to sleep, so being comfortable is important.
What I do is first stay awake for 5 or 10 minutes, just long enough for my mind to become more awake, while my body is still tired. Then I lie on my back (not necessary for everyone). If I feel the need to swallow, or move slightly, I do, but I don't continue to think about it. After a while I won't notice these urges anymore.
I like to focus on my breathing as I relax. I don't think about trying to WILD, or achieve anything. I just relax and let it happen. My goal to lucid dream is in the back of my mind.
Sometimes this works and I successfully enter a conscious dream. Sometimes it doesn't.
      Take it in stride.

I think you need to focus more on relaxing instead of the lights or Hypnagogic imagery Dream Wizard
